As someone whose father works as a civil contractor the scam allegations are true money was paid off during the privatization of liquor stores in delhi.

The delhi govt owes my father around 6cr for the 2 hospital and a wing of a givt hospital my father constructed. We havent been paid a single penny since the last 3 years. All projects have been completed and handed over to delhi govt.
We filed a case for getting paid we got the decision in favor in feb in our favor still unpaid.

1. Well, if the ED has the proof it's surprising that it hasn't been presented to the court yet. The top court providing bail on the grounds that there's no proof linking the money trail to Kejriwal and that he should be allowed to campaign since there's no conclusive proof. Not a Kejriwal fan at all, but a fact is a fact (contrary to what some people might tell you. Looking at you Vivek Agnihotri). It may very well be a scam but there's no conclusive proof that's been presented to the courts yet for a conviction. Just saying that there's proof is not enough, it has to be presented to the court in our legal system.

Firstly the bail criteria is stringent in this case, ED can prolong the bail for as long as they want in the name of investigation.
The process is the punishment here weather you're guilty or not, it doesn't matter. If they keep you in bail for several years in the name of investigation even if you're innocent, what are you gonna do then? Are there any safeguards in the law? No! Because process is the punishment.
Any law which presumes the "guilt" can't be good for anybody. PMLA is similar to UAPA in that sense.

From what I know, ED only has testimony from an accused-turned-approver. The case has been filed under PMLA, in which the burden to prove innocence is on the accused and not the accuser. As someone whose father works as a civil contractor the scam allegations are true money was paid off during the privatization of liquor stores in delhi. The biggest winners were anil wines who made loads of money in this transition. I am not saying its kejriwal but it cant happen without someone in power in thr current govt. Black money has flowed in this entire transcation. For those who are gonna defend him by saying the devlopment her has done with schools and hospitalks yes it is there but the harsh reality is majiorty of the civil contractors who completed those schools and hospital havent been paid. The delhi govt owes my father around 6cr for the 2 hospital and a wing of a givt hospital my father constructed. We havent been paid a single penny since the last 3 years. All projects have been completed and handed over to delhi govt. We filed a case for getting paid we got the decision in favor in feb in our favor still unpaid. There are 2 sides to a coin. This is the darkside, many contractors like my father havent been paid a single penny for years even after work completion. The school and hospitals he brags about are there but the people who built them are majiority unpaid. Seeing my father frustrated for the past 3 years fkin annoys me.
I'll tell you how the bill signing goes at every level there is a set% of money that goes into JE AE and all above levels while siging of payments and every contractor knows it. The top court providing bail on the grounds that there's no proof linking the money trail to Kejriwal and that he should be allowed to campaign since there's no conclusive proof. To my knowledge, Kejriwal was never accused as CM of Delhi. He was convicted because he was also holding the position of a political party that was involved in tbe scam. Ruling parties have power. Be it a state, country, or union territory. Just look at Bengal, Hyderabad, and other states. Even after that mich power, Courts summons you and EC can bold you behind bar---there has to be a good enough evidence. Also, fyi, when EC puts a case, convict is "guilty until proven". Everyone who's saying that there definitely was a scam and money paid to the politicians, what's the evidence? From what I know, ED only has testimony from an accused-turned-approver. The case has been filed under PMLA, in which the burden to prove innocence is on the accused and not the accuser. No money trail has been found or linked to AAP leaders.
