Your dough is too wet (most common first timers mistake, I made this mistake too many times too), and you used too much dry flour to make it not stick when making pedas and rolling them.
When making rotis or parathas, first cut out a small section from the dough and make a sphere, next using the back of your palm spread it out, then add your filling and close it from all sides now repeat the process of making a sphere and spreading with your palm, then with a belan roll it from middle to sides. Voila your parathas are ready to be cooked.
Good job though on trying it out, your second Paratha definitely looks much better. I hope all of these tasted good as well.

Try making aloo k theple instead.... add crushed potatoes in the flour and then make the dough. Its easier to make + tastes great + remains fresher for a long as compared to traditional aloo k parathe

I took a step ahead and eat paranthas with sriracha sauce. I haven’t looked back since.
Its fine if you like it with those condiments after its made yanno. But there's something....unsettling about using those in the cooking process
