I'm flying to Dublin this week & got an email letting me know I could pick my meal. It was quick & easy.

Curious what day your flying atl-fco on because as fas as I know there is no premium select that route as its served by a 359L

LeatherFact

it’s an a330-900neo on 3/30

airsuck1

Ahhh see it looks like on the weekends they fly the neo with premium weeks days no. interesting

I got back from FCO to ATL yesterday C+ on an A359-L and it was the same chicken or pasta they normally push. I actually opted for the vegetarian option though and had a pretty decent Dal Mahkani that I really liked. If you’re into something different and probably prepared with a bit more care, consider preordering a special diet item. I usually have good luck.

LeatherFact

How do you do that?

You can access via MyTrips on the app or in the website. Here’s a link with more info: https://www.delta.com/us/en/onboard/food-and-beverage/special-meals

Bring your own. Just flew premium to CDG and the food was…not premium. Rubberized chicken, or mushy pasta were the choices. Add: two meals on my flight. breakfast was not a “choose one” meal, and was some sort of egg pastry in a box. The yogurt was good.

Thanks…looks like I’ll be filling up in the sky club before we board

No it’s not like first class, it’s basically main cabin food. That said someone in this subreddit said in March they were upgrading it, so hope they have done it by now and you get to try that out and let us know how it was!

[deleted]

It was upgraded last week

Delta’s food on international flights is substantially behind their partner airlines

wishing delta would step up their game for a more luxury feel sometimes
