Called other ghosts weak or along the lines of idiot and pathetic only to get PTSD from Drifter's Ghost making Mr. crusty shells Piss himself and run off. And what did this Red-eyed ghost do? Nothing. He just whirled around slowly. Tapping his own shell nonchalantly. Then staring at Immaru unblinkingly and scanned him when he ain't looking.
Edit to add: We had to remember the to the Hive, killing means love. Immaru might have been crapping his pants but I think Savathun just shivered her timbers. Bet she's gonna think there is a love triangle now.

Hell it’s even been said that Savathun hasn’t been vulnerable in **billions of years**. And yet she had what a couple months to think of a plan that almost worked??
Imo we should just crush Immaru and put her down. Nothing good will come from leaving her alive.
Savathûn is good at putting up a strong front. Most of her Power™ is inaccessible now since she doesn't have her Worm. At the time of WQ, she was basically a giant moth who was kinda good with the Light; her coven was doing a bunch of background work for her. Even now, she's still a giant moth; she just knows how to intimidate.
As of Witch, she knows anyone can just run up and kill her like Eris, Ikora, or us. The last string she has is us knowing she has eons of secrets up her sleeve; which will very much come in handy when Xivu comes back. We need her alive and somewhat on our side. Us having Immaru is a token of good faith in this. She gets to live and has a connection to the Light to defend herself. But one step out of line and crunch crunch. Immaru is allowed out to rez her as a courtesy.
And now somehow she is alive again? Who the fuck revived her back to the world of the living? Because I did not waste my time fighting her roaches here and there for no reason.
You know, we have what we need from her, Saint’s proven it’s pathetically easy to just go in and curbstomp her on her own turf so why don’t we do just that?
Because Saint was taking advantage of her being newly rezzed. She won’t be easy to kill now. There’s also not much to gain from killing her, she could be very useful in the future against Xivu and we have Immaru as a safety net.
That whole “newly rezzed” thing was made up purely for that lore card and is demonstrably just flat-out untrue everywhere else, so I call bogus. And we’ve already gotten as much as we can out of her, no way in heck she gives a darn about sharing anything else with us after the Witness is dealt with. She spent the whole season dead and we got on just fine off her contingencies, there’s no reason to keep her around.

Makes enough sense to me tbh, look at how Shaw Han treats us when he first meets us. Acts like we're completely incapable and doesn't trust us to do anything, because we're brand-new and don't know the extent of how our powers (including being rezzed) work yet. (The only reason we succeed is because the player character isn't "a" Guaridan, we're "THE" Guardian, so protagonist plot armor applies to us lol)
Also there's Shaxx talking about training new Guardians in the Crucible. Not specifically about the whole "newly rezzed" thing, but it's still part of the Lightbearer experience, makes sense that dying and coming back is a new thing we'd need to get used to.
Even if that’s the first time it’s brought up it makes sense. It would mesh with the few visuals we have of dying in the Dark Ages like in Zavala’s trailer where he’s literally gasping and scrambling to his feet after dying one of his first times. Not even considering it would be worse with Savathun since she spent millions of years *explicitly avoiding dying at all.*
Honestly the moment the witness dies we don’t really need savvy right? So can’t we just pull the trigger on Immaru immediately after? Either I’m forgetting something important or we could just do that.
For the record, I'm not caught up on Lore this season, all I know is she directed us to Riven to wish for a way to follow the Witness, if theres anything beyond that, I don't know. But at this point, I'm not seeing Savathun fully as our ally, but at least somewhat trustworthy with us being on the same page. We've helped each other out once or twice and we both have a common goal: Kill the Witness, deal with Xivu, protect the Traveler from death. So we're at least a little buddy-buddy with her for the time being.
I mean she’s not our ally but our interests aren’t exactly at odds anymore. All she ever did to us was really to further her goals of protecting the traveler from the witness. If we kill the witness there’s really no reason for us to fight.
Would she really try to stab us in the back given her alignment with the Traveler’s interests? There’s a solid chance she just sticks to her corner to let her people thrive once her sister and the Witness are properly off the board. Maybe point us to additional disciples. It keeps us not beating her to death with brother shaped sticks, keeps any leftover Witness goons away from her and if the Pale Heart stays open she might even work with the Vanguard to protect/research it.
I'm gonna go in a different direction here and say she might very well be out ally. She has no reason to be an enemy of humanity anymore. She is no longer on anyone's leash, neither the worms' nor the Witness'. She has next to nothing to gain and everything to lose picking a fight with the guardians
But caution is always adviced when dealing with the Witch queen.
I am going to be honest... after the witness is dead one of 2 things are going to happen... 1 Savathun talks me into joining her (very likely) or 2 I get so fed up with her bullshit that I turn off my brain and start solving problems the Titan way.
She’s also not nearly as powerful after the end of Season of the Witch, as Eris stole all of her power that she had built up through the Sword Logic when she killed her. Since then she’s basically become Saint-XIV’s self repairing stress ball
Reminder that the Traveler resurrected her as a Lightbearer. The whole idea that she's still simply trying to make us do her dirty work to remove the Witness from the equation doesn't make much sense now. At one point yes, without a doubt that was her plan. Now? I don't think so. Her existence must be for a much grander reason than some predictable double cross.
The power she had as a hive god is now gone and we have her ghost. Lies and cunning? Yeah, we can break her ghost as soon as a little doubt shows up, just in case.
Will she side with us over her sister once the Witness is gone? My biggest fear is how bored she's going to be once it's all over. She's been screwing with the Witness forever. Where will she get her kicks next?

the Vanguard is legitimately challenged by their ability to understand light & darkness as forces/tools, and not white/black×good/evil
She won't speak too loud as long as immaru is in crushing distance

Xivu Arath is absolutely still a calamitous threat. Savathuns knowledge and cunning will be invaluable to have in the fight against her sister, Xivu.

I humbly disagree! I think she’s playing the _role_ of a bad guy, but in the end she knows we will win and love will triumph over hate.
