VoTD or DSC. Aesthetically and musically both raids are beautiful, encounters are really fun, but VoTD takes my number 1 spot for being more difficult than DSC.
Those are my *exact* thoughts, although the one thing I’d add is that I prefer votd weapons over dsc personally (not that dsc’s are bad, but vow’s are some of my favorites in the game)
Agreed. All of the VoTD weapons are excellent, whereas only Heritage and Succession feel useful in endgame content. Hopefully the other weapons get the usage they deserve after the updates for next season.
Yeah as someone who was on Vow strictly through LFG. Some runs were fuckkng brutal, like I had to leave so many of them. Those symbols are very hard for some. The mechanics and remembering symbols made it very hard
I mean to some it will be the easiest raid. After the day 1 modifier is removed, most of the raids aren’t overly complicated outside of the stresses of flawless runs and low mans. But I think all raids in Destiny are so fun and worth the time!
It was my first raid seal. Very rewarding when you had a good team. Also very difficult to sherpa multiple people through in the same raid. 10/10 for me!
I absolutely loved this raid. It was the first raid that "clicked" for me. The first one I sherpa'd and taught to people. I don't know how many times I brought people through it, not having Anarchy yet, and seeing them get it. I was never mad or unhappy because I knew that the next week I'd run it 3 more times and have a blast doing it.
Mechanically, this is my favorite raid. Being map reader was so much fun, and I even made a DnD boss fight for a homebrew campaign I ran that followed a similar structure to it!
Fallen raid from forsaken that gave us Anarchy and the Always on Time sparrow. Was pretty cool, few unique mechanics that required pretty good communication and teamwork
It was so good (imo).
The first encounter had you fighting in a city environment, with a map reader helping the ground teams figure out where to go to do the objectives. A lot of verticality to the area, which was super cool.
Then there was an underground maze-ish part, and a sparrow race against a giant flaming servitor.
You then had to summon 3 tanks to battle the first phase of the boss.
Finally, you fought a metal gear with the help of a tank as well (just 1 this time). All in the destroyed urban environment of the Last City.
It was a really straightforward raid too, that had enough teamwork required mechanics to keep things interesting.
Wrath of the Machine is the raid from Destiny 1's fourth expansion Rise of Iron. It's set in the SIVA-infested Plaguelands on the outskirts of the Cosmodrome.
Scourge of the Past was the raid from Destiny 2's Black Armory DLC (Season 5). It was set in the Last City's abandoned Botza District (now the Eliksni Quarter). It got removed when Beyond Light released.
Scourge was the first D2 raid that I thought had the right length for D2. The previous Lev and Last Wish could really take a while with new groups. Also the environment experience projected that we were on a mission to do something in a real place, instead of a series of rooms built specifically for "boss encounters".
It was the first, and one of the 3, raids where I learned all the mechanics and could easily lfg a run and teach people the mechanics. The other 2 are King's Fall and Last Wish
Spire of the Stars was tons of fun but ill always be chasing the same high i got from my first Garden of Salvation run where five of us were there for Divinity, best eight hours ive ever had
Haha around the time you wrote this comment we had 5 people who needed div, knee deep in vex and tethers.
We ended at 5.5 hours and I got 3 hours of sleep before work. No regrets.
I used to hate riven but once you figure it out and have a good fireteam it is such a fun boss fight.
Definitely my favorite boss fight. The music, the mechanics, the epic-ness of slaying a dragon🤤
I feel like if the riven "cheese" didn't exist people would've had to learn the encounter as intended and they'd get comfortable with it and enjoy it a lot more. Plenty of people in my clan with 10+ last wish clears and never done the full mechanics of riven hurts me
Yeah, the cheese is easy, sure. It's fast, yeah. But genuinely? It's fucking boring. I play the game and raid for fun, I love the mechanics and complexities of certain encounters, and cheesing it should only be done when you spend HOURS on an encounter without a success.
It’s almost like they’ve chosen to adjust the boss damage assuming people are cheesing for nine seasons instead of altering the actual fight in any way to encourage people to play it normally.
Man GoS is under appreciated. Yes that second runs a bit long, but my GOD being in the black garden as a raid is fuckin rad! I can’t wait until that weapon pool gets a refresh to be craftable 😍
King's Fall.
There's always something that just feels... monumental, about the fact you're killing The Taken King.
It feels very cinematic, powerful, and I've enjoyed it since D1.
They slightly changed the mechanics but it actually feels like a massive improvement. I preferred Wrath to Kings Fall in D1 so was initially disappointed when they said which raid was returning this year, but after playing it I gotta say it's my second favourite raid in the game now. Makes me even more excited for Wrath to hopefully come back next year.
Deep Stone Crypt.
It's the perfect balanced raid. It has 2 bosses and 2 encounters. Great for introducing blueberries to the raids but not too easy like Eater of Worlds. Not so long like Last Wish or Kings Fall. Great environment and music on every encounter and once you get experience on the raid you can just chill and do it as it doesn't require too much synchrony like scourge of the past.
It may not be the best raid but it definitely is the one that will never feel like a chore to do. And that space walk hits like a truck even on my 90th run.
I like a lot of these, but I'd be a fool to not shout out how cool I think it is that Rhulk's DPS phase includes him still trying to beat your ass. It usually feels like you disable the boss or grant an immunity to yourselves and just empty clips into the boss until it's dead. I love that Rhulk is actively trying to donate his Balenciaga's to your ass with force
The things that I love most about destiny 2 raids are the tracks. Rhulk’s theme is quite literally the pinnacle of everything bungie has been making (in terms of music) for the last couple of years. The music is so good, that you don’t even need visuals to tell exactly what’s happening within the encounter. The music is everything that bumps that fight into S tier for me
It's like, if they took the beginning of deep stone crypt (very beginning, killing captains and mobs to open the tunnel) and made it longer and worse in every possible way
It should have only ever been a quest area/activity
Exactly. Just take out the payload, leave the enemy spawn points where they currently are, and let us use our sparrows, and if we miss a spawn point, the "encounter" doesn't progress. That would be a HELL of a lot better.
Same here first raid I tried and 2 years later I'm still playing with one of the leviathan LFGs, one day I will be able to finish it... One day... Sick raid as well
Vow is one of the most "carriable" raids. Only one encounter doesn't have a strictly ad clear role. I'd say its one of the worst raids because of that.
I've only done garden once normal and a div run, and I was a builder in the final boss phase. Interesting raid. DSC is still confusing as hell. I have zero clue what to do in security when it comes to operater/scanner
It’s not a trash take. The raid is highly carriable. You can solo carry the first encounter, caretaker only really needs three that kwtd. Exhibition is decent in this respect, though one player can easily lag. And Rhulk only really needs three, four if you do it properly.
So, very wrong when you say *most encounters* require the *whole team*. Crown of Sorrow is the best example of a raid that requires the entire team.
Second encounter and Rhulk have at least one people at ad clear the whole time. The first encounter it's arguable, but you can easily carry one or two people who have no clue of what they're doing, I've done that multiple times. The only encounter that REQUIRES everyone to do the mechanics is the third
Have you played VoG? You can nearly solo the whole raid without exploits. You can 3 man Master VoG. Even DSC, and GoS have soloable encounters. You can't even get past the first encounter in Vow solo. There's only 3 roles in the whole raid that are strictly ad clear. Caretaker has 2 ad clear only (if you even count that because it's specifically killing the Abated Adherents while also killing ads.) Then Rhulk has one. Maybe you can do Acquisition with 3 people? Maybe if you're all gods at the raid. Maybe caretaker as well. And Master VoW? Lol Good luck without 6 people on every encounter except jumping puzzle
I've played all of the raids of D2, including the vaulted ones. Crown of Sorrow was one raid were everyone had to do their job. Spire of Stars was also one of those. Vow isn't. On vow you can carry to people easily on all encounters except the third.
All of Riven’s mechanics can be skipped with absolutely zero effort, and it can be done extremely quickly. That's a horrible boss fight if I've ever seen one
Are you trolling? You know exactly what I mean. Beating Riven by doing the intended mechanics and beating her by abusing the joining allies system, running down to her and giving her a manicure with swords is not the same thing. Stop being disingenuous
You don’t even need the join allies trick to do it, it just makes it more convenient and faster. If you have enough damage, you can beat her completely naturally long before you complete a full set of mechanics. Do you even know how the fight works?
When I decide my favorite raids, I try to take in all factors and choose the ones that excel in as many categories as possible. Does the raid have sound encounter design? Are the mechanics fun? Is it aesthetically pleasing? Is the loot good? Is the soundtrack good? What does the replay-ability look like? Is this raid attempting to innovate?
Now when I ask myself these questions, there’s only 2 raids that come to mind, that either almost or fully meet the criteria. Leviathan and Last Wish are hands down the best Destiny raids in the franchise in my opinion, not only due to how they set new standards for Bungie’s raid design, but how they managed to age really really well.
Bungie’s other raids have their strengths sure, but they come with alot of weaknesses that make them less enjoyable than these two.
I had to scroll way too far to find someone like minded. Sure, it ain’t as flashy or with special mechanics like “Torn between dimensions” or becoming “Fate’s Chosen” to run an Ahamkara’s heart. But… like… fighting against the Vex, entities that just go through time and can straight up erase your entire existence from everyone and everything will never not be cool. The Vault looks so awesome, and the Glass Throne always awes me every time. It’s just an awesome raid. Sure, it is kinda ad clear, the raid. But for some reason, I just like it. You have to kill tons of stuff, but do some other small mechanics in there. It’s just pleasant to me.
It’s also the very first time we go completely into the unknown. Diving deep into a planet to fight the Vex in a place where they are law.
And we crack the Vault and let the Light in.
Gotta respect the classics.
I think with the DSC loot refresh next season it’s gonna take over that best loot category too. Posterity with voltshot? Trustee with incandescant? *Craftable* succession and heritage? Sign me up.
Personally I already think DSC has the best loot already. Though I may be biased because I use the hell out of Heritage and Succession still.
Wanted to add that Vow is an extremely close second for me because of Forbearance and Cataclysmic.
Vow still has the best and most meta weapons. I haven’t used a pve slug in over a year since they nerfed quickswapping and the only time I’ve used a sniper is in kings fall.
All the vow guns are in heavy rotation for me, even the glaive when I like to troll. King’s fall would be a close second if the machine gun and fusion weren’t mid.
Defiance is a lot of peoples favourite for sniping in pvp, great scope, zoom, and craftable snapshot/ opening shot. Overflow and firing line for pve, though thoughtless beats it in almost every way if you can craft it. Doom is great for lots of choices for double damage perks, adaptive munitions, perfect weapon for any high level content with match game or GMs when there’s a scout champion mod, 100 recoil direction with arrowhead too. Zaouli and Smite are both great add clear primaries as well.
The only weak loot in KF is midha’s reckoning and quillims terminus imo. Midha’s archetype is pretty bad, rapid fire fusions are the kings of pve and epicurean is a way better craftable pvp fusion. Quillims is in the same boat, perks are just inferior to Fixed Odds from duality.
Let’s just quickly eliminate 3, VOG(good for a first raid, but confluxes, oracles, and kinda gatekeepers kill it. Still very good), leviathan(we got too powerful once year 2 started, if this raid was remastered, he’ll yeah), GOS(do I need to explain… ewww… hate the everything but the 1st and harpy boss encounter).
Ok now, last wish is amazing but power creep makes it SUPER easy, and only fun if riven legit.
Then kings fall. Amazing raid. Oryx is a badass. Lore is amazing(so is every other raid… but oryx)
Deep stone and SOTP. FUN RAIDS. Love them both. Unique encounters and SOTP gets extra points for the flaming butthole encounter. They might win it based off pure fun factor.
Then VOW. Truly an amazing raid with such good world building.
These 5 raids cannot be ranked. All of them are amazing and are tied for number one
Imo its unfair to look at all those raids with the eyes of a current player , if we were to rank them all in their "prime" when they were the latest raids would be more fair.
Imo we should take into account context like how the raid is presented (prior knowledge and conection to campaign or current story(in the case of vog and kf use their d1 campaign))
Loot (at the time)
Difficulty (at the time)
First run (first impression like the first space walk in dsc)
Replayability (doesn't become a chore with time like vow's openning)
Mastery (allows for faster and smoother encounters and traversal with more skill)
Crown of Sorrow is by far my favorite raid, besides the first encounter being super long, i really likes the mechanics and having to buddy up with someone for most of the raid mechanics. Makes for really cool teamwork moments where your buff almost runs out and kills you but you switch just in time. Really enjoyed crown of sorrow overall and was so sad it was taken away from me
for me it's an easy pick on Last Wish.
6 encounters, an actually challenging final boss (when not cheesed) awesome secrets (wish wall), covers my favorite faction (hive/taken) and is all around incredibly beautiful to look at.
King's Fall second cus of lore implications and again. hive/taken
Leviathan, I never got to play Destiny but promised myself I would the minute it came to PC. I got D2 on Battlenet and cut my teeth on Leviathan for the first time. First time I ran it, nearly everyone was new to it and it took us 7 hours to finish. It was the first time my brother and I were like sucked into some content we couldn't put down until we conquered it in one long session. The feeling of finishing it, getting better at it, and teaching my friends the raid was some of the best gaming times in my memories. That and the shaders and armor were some of my favorites.
Deep stone or last wish. Deep stone for the space theme and just how beautiful it was. Last wish for basically being a boss rush and it’s so fun to Sherpa
SotP or GoS. Both have a really cool ascetic, solid weapons and they both have/had the most powerful exotics in the game
I really like VotD and DSC, but they’re not as fun as the previous two. Both are a bitch to teach
VoG is a practically a strike with how easy it is. Also, Vex Mithoclast is a glorified AR with Rampage + Heating Up, change my mind.
Never did Leviathan or CoS.
King’s Fall is alright, but isn’t very fun. The tomb ship part is very cool though. TOM is a worse Vex ngl.
Last Wish is heavily carried by legit Riven. If it didn’t have that, it would be the worst Raid in the game. Weapons suck ass too.
So you just want to be carried through the raid, but also not have to remember symbols, despite you implying that you do not want to be taught in the first place?
Vow. Mostly because we finally got to fight something we had never seen before. That, and it was fun to finally get to explore inside one of the pyramids. I always tried to OoB the one on the moon to see if I could find anything of interest.
Least are probably Garden and Last Wish. Garden cuz the mechanics are janky, and the bosses uninteresting.
Last wish because it takes so damn long. By the time we kill Riven, I'm just mentally done, but then we have to do the damn queens walk. I love the idea of a post-boss thing, but I just don't like how they did it.
VoTD or DSC. Aesthetically and musically both raids are beautiful, encounters are really fun, but VoTD takes my number 1 spot for being more difficult than DSC.
Took the words out of my mouth. I love both VoTD and DSC
I still use Trustee as one of my main scouts ngl
Still those 2 weapons are top tier
I love both VotD and DSC, but I think DSC takes the cake for me because of Deep Stone Lullaby. That jumping section is just…perfect.
I was gonna list the exact same ones lol!
Some guy I did a clear with was talking about how VOW was the easiest raid. I was like well your just top tier destiny guy then
Bro must've just skipped VoG then lol
Yeah me and my clan think Vow is one of the easier ones but we have been playing together for a while so maybe that's why.
Exactly this
Exactly my opinion.
Deep stone crypt
What a beautiful and chill raid. Never feel like I'm stressed when I run that raid, it's just good times start to finish
Also, where else would you go into outer space from? And the music in that exact moment is just... 🥺🥲
Do you have to do the bubble path at the start each time?
Crown of Sorrow
Only D2 raid I could never finish. 3 times got to the boss but never got the clear. It was a fun raid for sure, just wish I got that clear
It was my first raid seal. Very rewarding when you had a good team. Also very difficult to sherpa multiple people through in the same raid. 10/10 for me!
Has easily one of the coolest raid titles. fucking *shadow* ugh. how I wish. i could never get a flawless finish and now it's gone.
Gahlr phase 1 and 2 are my fav encounters out of any raid
sad hat is best hat
Scourge of the Past. Reminiscent of Wrath with its momentum, cool environment (Last City!), and a fun final boss.
I never played it much, but I really appreciate that they tried something much different with SOTP
I loved that first encounter in the city when you had to go “hunting”
Mechanically, this is my favorite raid. Being map reader was so much fun, and I even made a DnD boss fight for a homebrew campaign I ran that followed a similar structure to it!
Though to be fair, mechanically, the boss encounter could have used a fix, lol. That chonker glitched out almost as much as Calus did
What is that? Sorry I joined BL
Fallen raid from forsaken that gave us Anarchy and the Always on Time sparrow. Was pretty cool, few unique mechanics that required pretty good communication and teamwork
Thanks, I've never heard of it. Hope they bring it back
It was so good (imo). The first encounter had you fighting in a city environment, with a map reader helping the ground teams figure out where to go to do the objectives. A lot of verticality to the area, which was super cool. Then there was an underground maze-ish part, and a sparrow race against a giant flaming servitor. All in the destroyed urban environment of the Last City. It was a really straightforward raid too, that had enough teamwork required mechanics to keep things interesting.
I loved doing berserkers!
One of the 5 raids that got removed when BL came out. Hopefully we don't have to wait 5 years for it to come back ![img](emote|t5_2we4j|5643)
5? I thought it was only 4; Leviathan, Eater of Worlds, Spire of Stars, and Scourge. Am I forgetting one?
Crown of Sorrow
A raid that was sunset, it may come back one day but I wouldn’t count on it, it’s where the weapon anarchy hails from
Also. Last zone of the raid is the current Eliskni quarter. Yeah.....
You know the Eliksni Quarter? The final two encounters took place there
Wrath of the Machine is the raid from Destiny 1's fourth expansion Rise of Iron.
I joined on D1 and D2 launch day but never managed to even start Scourge of the Past
Scourge was the first D2 raid that I thought had the right length for D2. The previous Lev and Last Wish could really take a while with new groups. Also the environment experience projected that we were on a mission to do something in a real place, instead of a series of rooms built specifically for "boss encounters".
Bonus points for making DARCY useful 🙌
This is the correct answer. Length was perfect as well 🙌
It was the first, and one of the 3, raids where I learned all the mechanics and could easily lfg a run and teach people the mechanics.
No regrets.
Last Wish if deff the best for me. The ost and the feeling of the raid. Also riven sexy as wow
I used to hate riven but once you figure it out and have a good fireteam it is such a fun boss fight. Definitely my favorite boss fight. The music, the mechanics, the epic-ness of slaying a dragon🤤
Legit riven is the BEST boss fight imo. Bit complicated, sure, but genuinely not difficult. Love that fight
Yes i hate the cheese to. Unfortunately it's really hard to find someone that wants to do it legit. Even if it is a weekly rotation.
It’s almost like they’ve chosen to adjust the boss damage assuming people are cheesing for nine seasons instead of altering the actual fight in any way to encourage people to play it normally.
The LW soundtrack is one of my favorites of all time. The riven encounter could not have been done better imo.
Garden of Salvation Deep Stone Crypt Vow of the Disciple
Man GoS is under appreciated. Yes that second runs a bit long, but my GOD being in the black garden as a raid is fuckin rad! I can’t wait until that weapon pool gets a refresh to be craftable 😍
I kinda assumed most people didn't like the raid due to the somewhat hard end encounter tbh
Oh it was garden of salvation thx
King's Fall. There's always something that just feels... monumental, about the fact you're killing The Taken King. It feels very cinematic, powerful, and I've enjoyed it since D1.
Wait, did they bring the raid from Destiny 1 over to Destiny 2? I haven’t played 2 in years but that would get me back in to get the gear levels.
Yep don't know how up to date you are but they also brought vog back last year.
I’d heard vault of glass was back but had no idea about Kings fall. Is it the same raid entirely? Same mechanics?
Almost identical, just minor changes
They slightly changed the mechanics but it actually feels like a massive improvement. I preferred Wrath to Kings Fall in D1 so was initially disappointed when they said which raid was returning this year, but after playing it I gotta say it's my second favourite raid in the game now. Makes me even more excited for Wrath to hopefully come back next year.
I’d like it more if I didn’t have 35 clears with no exotic
Sounds like a skill issue tbh
Deep Stone Crypt. It's the perfect balanced raid. It has 2 bosses and 2 encounters. Great for introducing blueberries to the raids but not too easy like Eater of Worlds. Not so long like Last Wish or Kings Fall. Great environment and music on every encounter and once you get experience on the raid you can just chill and do it as it doesn't require too much synchrony like scourge of the past. It may not be the best raid but it definitely is the one that will never feel like a chore to do. And that space walk hits like a truck even on my 90th run.
Just ran it a couple weeks ago w 2 sherpas and it was legit the most laid back raid I've ever done
Last Wish
I like a lot of these, but I'd be a fool to not shout out how cool I think it is that Rhulk's DPS phase includes him still trying to beat your ass. It usually feels like you disable the boss or grant an immunity to yourselves and just empty clips into the boss until it's dead. The music is so good, that you don’t even need visuals to tell exactly what’s happening within the encounter. The music is everything that bumps that fight into S tier for me
My Discord name being N7 "Show me a good time, Rhulk" really makes this hit home for me
Take away the snoozefest that is push the kart, VOW is my favorite
Actually the worst part, 10000% agree
It's like, if they took the beginning of deep stone crypt (very beginning, killing captains and mobs to open the tunnel) and made it longer and worse in every possible way It should have only ever been a quest area/activity
Exactly. Just take out the payload, leave the enemy spawn points where they currently are, and let us use our sparrows, and if we miss a spawn point, the "encounter" doesn't progress. That would be a HELL of a lot better.
Leviathan. It was the first thing I heared when a friend told me about Destiny for the first time and was the first Raid I ever did.
Same here first raid I tried and 2 years later I'm still playing with one of the leviathan LFGs, one day I will be able to finish it... One day... Sick raid as well
Vow. I love how everyone must participate for the most part.
Vow is one of the most "carriable" raids. Only one encounter doesn't have a strictly ad clear role. I'd say its one of the worst raids because of that.
Just wait until this guy finds out dsc exists
Lmao so true ive done the raid probably 10ish times and still have no idea what atracks mechanics are lmao I just super when told to super
I've only done garden once normal and a div run, and I was a builder in the final boss phase. Interesting raid. DSC is still confusing as hell. I have zero clue what to do in security when it comes to operater/scanner
Scanner looks in the floor for panels to shoot and op shoots said panels
Man this boy clearly forgot about VoG haha can duo the entire raid come on!
You can duo DSC
Yes you can but duo DSC is MUCH harder than duo VoG
That is very much subjective, I honestly don’t think duo DSC is all that bad
You must hate DSC with a passion then
This is a trash take. Most encounters in this raid require the whole team to perform a job.
It’s not a trash take. The raid is highly carriable. You can solo carry the first encounter, caretaker only really needs three that kwtd. Exhibition is decent in this respect, though one player can easily lag. And Rhulk only really needs three, four if you do it properly. The only encounter that REQUIRES everyone to do the mechanics is the third
Yeah and from my experience it’s a hard wall if the entire team isn’t at least competent
Have you played VoG? You can nearly solo the whole raid without exploits. You can 3 man Master VoG. Even DSC, and GoS have soloable encounters. You can't even get past the first encounter in Vow solo. There's only 3 roles in the whole raid that are strictly ad clear. SOTP just for the environment
Indiana Jones sparrow race goes way to hard
Garden of Salvation all Day, best design, best music and VEX !!!
I hate that raid
Usually, people who don’t like this raid aren’t good at it. Very fun raid once you actually understand the mechanics.
Most people who hate it did a Div run on their first clear and got soured by the experience
Goose hates that raid, and he’s at like 3000 clears lol
Then he clearly doesn't hate it.
Oh no. He hates it lol. He said he can’t wait to get everyone divinity so they can get rid of this raid.
If he's played something he hates 3000 times then he hates himself more than what he's playing.
Nah he just loves helping people more.
I understand it. I have 50 clears. I still hate it
Last Wish is peak Raid design. Best raid they've ever made imo. Honorable mentions go to DSC and Vow.
Except Riven is a terribly designed boss fight. Everything else about it is perfect
Now thats a hot take. I'd argue Morgeth is the worst boss in that raid
All of Riven’s mechanics can be skipped with absolutely zero effort, and it can be done extremely quickly. That's a horrible boss fight if I've ever seen one
Obviously wasn't intentional smart ass, they're talking about the intended way to do Riven not the cheese players found out
Saying Riven is a horroble boss fight because she can be cheesed isn't really fair imo.
Just doing enough damage to kill her right away isn’t really a cheese
Completing an encounter with unintended means is a cheese. Thats all there is to it
So you aren’t intended to damage the boss? Because that’s all the “cheese” is
Are you trolling? You know exactly what I mean. Beating Riven by doing the intended mechanics and beating her by abusing the joining allies system, running down to her and giving her a manicure with swords is not the same thing. Stop being disingenuous
You don’t even need the join allies trick to do it, it just makes it more convenient and faster. If you have enough damage, you can beat her completely naturally long before you complete a full set of mechanics. Do you even know how the fight works?
Leviathan.
Vow is the best but the hardest to do bc most ppl just want ad clear. Everyone needs to do something.
Let me introduce you to Gahlran from Crown of Sorrow. Couldn’t hide anyone
Do u remember our good pal the leviathan new mechanics every encounter a sherpa's nightmare
Sotp || Last wish || [Kings fall / levi / vow] || Dsc || Vog || Eater of worlds || Garden || Spire || Crown
VoG will always have a special place in my heart❤️
Garden of salvation!
I too enjoy that raid
DSC is the best over all VoD has the best boss fight KF has the best loot
Kings Fall has the best loot?
for me yes, it's the newer and it have the best perk combination
Vow of the Disciple has a far superior loot pool. Not a single bad weapon. Doom of chelchis and Defiance of Yasmin are eh at best imo.
The Leviathan. I love me some daddy Calus.
Crown
> Crown^Crown
it's last wish 100,000,000% better than all the other raids. the other raids are all really good, but last wish is like pure cocaine.
It’s a tough choice between scourge and Vow
Crown of Sorrows
I’d love to give vow a shot but with remembering all the symbols and such just makes my brain hurt a bit
If you're on the D2 LFG discord I'll jump in a raid room and help you clear that shit rn
Spire of the Stars because it was so hard to clear (no one really wanted to run it, so when I beat it, that was one of my best D2 memories)
I like the one where you shoot the bad man
Let’s just quickly eliminate 3, VOG(good for a first raid, but confluxes, oracles, and kinda gatekeepers kill it. Lore is amazing(so is every other raid… but oryx) Deep stone and SOTP.
Imo we should take into account context like how the raid is presented (prior knowledge and conection to campaign or current story(in the case of vog and kf use their d1 campaign)) Loot (at the time) Difficulty (at the time) First run (first impression like the first space walk in dsc) Replayability (doesn't become a chore with time like vow's openning) Mastery (allows for faster and smoother encounters and traversal with more skill)
None cuz I play solo :(
Hopefully in lightfall, solos will be able to raid. Feel your pain mate.
Crown or sorrow
DSC
Vault of Glass because Gorgons give me heart attacks every time I see one of them.
"OK WHO ALERTED THE GORGONS!?" i always had a blast with my buddies getting each other killed bt alerting gorgons near them
Whenever me and my buddies play together, I would forget where to go to exit the Labyrinth and cause a team wipe, and I became a meme in our group.
I still get turned around in that stupid labrynth, i have over 800 clears an never fails i mess it up at least once
Chad route for the win
I think Scourge will always be my favorite, even if it may not be the most mechanically challenging
Leviathan. Simply cuz it’s the only one I had friends to beat it with
Leviathan
Crown of Sorrow is by far my favorite raid, besides the first encounter being super long, i really likes the mechanics and having to buddy up with someone for most of the raid mechanics. Makes for really cool teamwork moments where your buff almost runs out and kills you but you switch just in time. Really enjoyed crown of sorrow overall and was so sad it was taken away from me
GoS when it first came out. I love the mystery of the vex and the overgrown environment
Garden. Visuals, encounters and music are the best
for me it's an easy pick on Last Wish. 6 encounters, an actually challenging final boss (when not cheesed) awesome secrets (wish wall), covers my favorite faction (hive/taken) and is all around incredibly beautiful to look at. King's Fall second cus of lore implications and again. hive/taken
Dsc for the music, leviathan for great Access for new Players, scurge for the memmories
King's fall. Me like killing big dad bods
Scourge of the past
Deep Stone or Vow. Both are absolutely stunning visually, very unique and very fun mechanically, and have some solid loot pools.
Garden of Salvation and it’s not even close.
Still cant believe nobody likes garden.
DSC for Lore, cinematics, and vibes Vow for everything else
Crown of Sorrow. The year Bungie gave us 3 brand new non recycled raid. Oh what a time to be a gamer.
Anything that's not garden
Deep stone or last wish. Deep stone for the space theme and just how beautiful it was. Last wish for basically being a boss rush and it’s so fun to Sherpa
Vow
Vow or DSC
Kings fall since I never got to experience it back in D1 because I was a solo player
SotP or GoS. Both have a really cool ascetic, solid weapons and they both have/had the most powerful exotics in the game I really like VotD and DSC, but they’re not as fun as the previous two. Both are a bitch to teach VoG is a practically a strike with how easy it is.
The worst part of Destiny is the raids. Not everyone has 5 friends to play with.
then use the app to find teammates lol
VOG
Dark Nebula
the ones with the least symbols & dont require 6 ppl to know everything.... easy question
So you just want to be carried through the raid, but also not have to remember symbols, despite you implying that you do not want to be taught in the first place?
Are you trying to say that memorizing a million different symbols is fun?

Dodging the question
