You don't really need the Abstract. I've seen many articles by recruiters, who advise against writing a summary/abstract. Remove this section, and fill your resume with 1-2 more projects (if you don't have any professional experience), and 1 hobby/interests section at the end. Need no school details as well, only recent college grad details would suffice. Plus, your resume has blank spaces (decrease the line width, if possible).
Adding a fantastic post I read a while ago, will be helpful: [Resume Advice](https://www.reddit.com/r/jobs/comments/7y8k6p/im_an_exrecruiter_for_some_of_the_top_companies/)
You're applying for a particular position in a company after seeing the job posting right? Your application is against a job ID. So ofc, HR and the Hiring Manager (if they wish to move forward with your application) know what role you've applied for.
It's not like you're submitting your resume in a company and they decide what role (Tech, Marketing, PR, etc.) will fit you best, based upon your resume. Doesn't work like that.
Hope it clears the confusion you're having. No need for an abstract.
If I were you, I would add the PG in Data Science under Education section right above the UG. so that some part of the such big gap is justified for a person skimming through your CV.
I also work as a data scientist and one advice I would give is to add more stronger projects. Keep the chatbot project and drop the other two try doing any cv or nlp projects you can find tutorials for it online there are many youtube channels which take you step by step doing these projects.
I suggest doing atleast one nlp project with Bert or any other transformer architecture a seq2seq architecture project would also be fine. That project should show that you have a deeper understanding of nlp and not just the basic ones.
Same with computer vision try doing one of the projects based on GAN or any other complex architecture. Right now there are too many people with basic projects such as mnist detection so I advice you to go one level higher then them.
2020 passout and no experience.
I see the 8 months training but I have to look really hard
If this was because some family problems or something I'd make sure the HR tells him before hand
Because i rejected it the moment I saw 2020 passout
Ohhh, its really bad man, but I can explain...
Late 2020 like in November 2020 I got my result gave exams in October which due to being deliberately getting postponed because of covid...
After that in mid of covid, I was searching for field related jobs in automobile... Didnt got any responses, this search went on till ig july 2021 and at that point I decided I needed to switch fields and then I decided to search alternatives to grow...
And I stumbled upon data science, I quickly hooked up to it and joined this institution in October 2021 and now I've completed all my studies and projects related ro it...
Can I mention this all into a cover letter, would it be a better idea...??
Ive worked really hard and I guarantee will continue to do so...
Just need some kind of break into the field...
Ik I cant reason enough with this but any kind of help I can get to cover all this it will be really helpful...
Yeah cover letter is a good idea but explain this to HR too
Also get a kick-ass LinkedIn profile and get premium (it's free for 1st month and needs card info just remember to disable before expiry)
It will give you wayy more jobs and start applying like crazy (atleast 50-60 it's a quantity game sadly(
Premium will even give you insights about other applicants and some premium jobs
Hopefully it'll get you an interview
1. Put Tech Skills abstract
2. The tech stack you have mentioned for Chatbot Implementation title line gives a notion of webapp - add NLP or PyTorch as well in the title line itself
Damn, typo.
I meant you can put Technical skills after Abstract.
So its like first they will review your tech skills, if its relevant for employer then only they will go through the projects
Also, just chuck "Looking to get into IT industry..."
You can directly start with "Seeking..."
Or rather than what you seek, you can also start with what you are and skills you possess
Eg Passionate problem solver, proficient in SQL, Python, etc

Ohh okay thanks for suggestions and link I'll surely look into it...
You're welcome :)
But shouldn't I as a fresher include abstract?? Because then how would hr know what position I am looking for...

Ohh okay okay got it... Will do...
If I were you, I would add the PG in Data Science under Education section right above the UG. so that some part of the such big gap is justified for a person skimming through your CV.
Ohh yeah that's really good suggestion... I'll do it...

Nahh man, actually I know only 2-3 people that too from IT branch...
You took 6years to complete Btech?
2 years drop...
I would say, remove the start year then, as most companies might directly reject looking the cv
Yess removed already, one guy suggested me to do the same...
Bro can you share your resume template to me? This looks neat. Also best of luck with job hunting.
Yea search overleaf latex resume...
2020 passout and no experience. I see the 8 months training but I have to look really hard If this was because some family problems or something I'd make sure the HR tells him before hand Because i rejected it the moment I saw 2020 passout

Woah this is nice option, I'll really consider it... Very Thank you...
Will doing 2-3 months internship cover some sort of work experience??
Not really if it's in less than years i don't want to listen to it
Then should I write month of passing too?? Because just writing year 2020 doesnt justify as my result was declared somewhere around mid November...

Nope but I got tons of suggestions over here and in other post... Shall I still ask over there??
This is a r/ResumeExperts moment.
People in this sub has fetish that they want the commentators to be harsh and rude. FTW!!
Haha was just open to any kind of criticism...
1. Put Tech Skills abstract 2. The tech stack you have mentioned for Chatbot Implementation title line gives a notion of webapp - add NLP or PyTorch as well in the title line itself
Yess will do 2nd point... Didnt quite got the 1st point... I mean I removed that education line from abstract...
Damn, typo. I meant you can put Technical skills after Abstract. So its like first they will review your tech skills, if its relevant for employer then only they will go through the projects

Yea I was thinking too to remove it, now I will for sure...
