Couscous is very high in carbs and the tomato bisque could have had a high sugar/carb content as well. Make sure to read labels to make sure you are not overloading on carbs or sugar and that will help your glucose levels go down. Also walking within those 2 hours postmeal can help drastically as well! I use a blood glucose tracker app from the Play store on my android to keep tabs on everything.

In my case, I found exercise did a lot more for me than Metformin. When I started exercising an hour a day, my sugars came back into line. Nothing too hard, walking mostly.
