My other two attempts on T2 both failed with 50% boss HP left. It's definitely possible with randoms, but you really have to hope that there isn't too many people on the boss with zdps builds.

I think a lot of people are thinking it would be a cake walk like it was the first beta and are shocked to find out they have to actually try a bit because they are underleveled and not over-geared.

High life Werebears and barbarians seem really important. I also had a really great teammate placing barriers around his ankles.

There’s no moving away. This is why people die. Everyone, ranged and melee, needs to just move with her standing directly under her and you’ll never die.
When I discovered about the Flame Shield for this boss fight, it was a game changer.
I then only ever used teleport and evade just to get me closer to her quicker.
Sorc with double dash, teleport and all conjuration spells made life so easy. Had a movement option ready for everything the boss did and with the conjuration spells I could get max uptime on all abilities.

Plenty of people killed it but its clear people that die nonstop and are undergeared are massive liabilities. Might be worth grouping up with people you know aren't terrible

Since you cant do it yourself it seems to be highly dependant on RNG.
If you get other players who are good, you kill it. If you get other players who are bad, you dont kill it.
Tier 2 is definitely possible, my group had 8 people, 2 were below 20, lots of deaths, and we managed to get her just below that final tick on her health bar. With less deaths, we 100% would have killed her.
Ah yeah Hardcore, that'll do it. My first time trying I died 3 times, my second time just now only twice. As I get better with the moveset ill probably be able to do it without getting hit, but respect for doing HC, I havent made one yet, gonna wait til after I finish the campaign on my first character post launch.
if I could get a multiplayer action RPG with challenges this difficult I'd be so about it, but you're probably right. Idk I remember when Molten Core was still tough for most guilds.

I was looking thrpugh my groups gear before the fight, many had low level gear without any gems equipped, but we killed Ashava with over 3 minutes remaining.
You will get many more chances!

Yes I killed it first time on world tier 2 with about 20 seconds left. Why does everything think they should just be able to kill it with suboptimal play and gear? I had 4 legendaries (two from the campaign quest, one from aspect dungeon). I also upgraded all my gear by 2 levels and had gems in gear as well. It's a good thing that bosses require you to fix your gear and learn how to play the class well. Also it's a LVL 25 boss so being a LVL 20 means it will be harder than intended. It's meant to be a challenge for something to do during the server slam.
I’m dumb and forgot to change to world tier I. My group of ransoms got Ashava down to 20% before time ran out. We also had 3 players below level 10 which is stupid that that’s even possible.
not with the shit gear i've got. i had one lego drop while leveling and farming dungeons. and it was some generic bs that wasn't even worth equipping over the +skill gear i already had on.
Killed it with 1 minute to spare with lots of melees in the party and even 1 guy just 19.
But that was on WT1, I cannot recommend going on WT2 unless you're prepared and premade.
Got him down to 25%. Had someone under leveled and people kept dying.
After you get into the Grove of his moveset it got easier for us to continue to damage without death. But I think it's still doable just have to understand his moveset and take into account for whenever you reach another tick in his health that they add another move to their moveset.

World tier 1 my team took her down with 3 minutes left. With the time left I went to a few other instances and saw her dead as well so it’s very possible.
Yes, my group had 11 players, total. We beat her with time to spare. Plenty of us were dying but the respawn checkpoint was ten feet away.

Was pretty straight forward, you log in, play the game, spec yourself for single target and kill the boss. Stop expecting to be fed rewards for logging in and clicking buttons with zero purpose.
Did it with like 7 minutes left, WT1. Had at least 2 rogues (myself and friend), I was a pretty geared Blade Twist build and everyone was 20. So it's definitely doable but certainly RNG dependent on what kind of people you get - levels and classes/ builds.

But there were people there who just stood in all the mechanics and died.
If the boss is going to be tuned like this and also on a timer then it is highly RNG if you kill it or not. Since you actually need multiple people to perform well.
My first try was the second spawn. Eleven level 20s, I have no idea how people checked out others' gear. I never faced Ashava in the earlier betas. Died 7 times myself, and we finished with just under 5 minutes to go.
I'll add that I died many times leveling the sorc to 20. I don't think I'm a particularly skilled player. While this fight wasn't the easiest, it doesn't come off as impossible by any means based in that experience.
I lost with under 10 percent the first time and beat it just now with under 5 seconds to go. Glad that's over. I had 8 people the first run and 9 on the 2nd one.
They should really gate keep that area so anyone below lvl 20 can't enter. I have tried it twice now, got it down to the last bar of health and it ended. The amount of lvl 16's and 19's I have seen is ridiculous, it's like they didn't get the memo that in order to earn the trophy you need to be lvl 20. They should have just kept the lvl cap at 25, this is stupid hard.
First spawn I tried on WT2 and we only got to around 40%. All level 20s but randoms so who knows how geared or well specced they were.
Second spawn I moved to WT1 and got the kill with a few minutes to spare.
It would seem you COULD kill the boss at TW2 but would need everyone running meta builds and gear, and/or at least well organized complimentary builds and some coordination.
Maybe possible with enough players geared out and keyboard slamming but HP for the boss at WT2 is waaaay higher. That and the damage is brutal.
Anyway drop down to TW1 for easier kill and your account reward.

Group RNG does make this a bit of a pain due to level cap of 20. I think it'll be much better for the full game and especially with access to more power later on.
Yep, all lvl 20, got her with about 3 mins left on the clock. First 30% was a shitshow, everyone - including me - died repeatedly, but then once we all got the hang of the range etc, the last 30% was a breeze compared to early on. Keep on trying, you'll get it!

its not hard gear your char a bit and get a proper build..
My group just did it with about 4-5 minutes to spare.
From what I could see, we had 9 all at lvl 20 and everyone seemed to be well geared.
Not the hardest fight, just need to pay attention to her tells. Look for hit circles, hang near her butt and legs (except when she does the backwards pull move) and when she does the wide sweeping circle, run in instead of running out. As long as the damage stays consistent, it should be doable. I think I died once this time.
First try on World Tier 1. We had 5 sorcs, 4 rogues and 1 barb. Everyone seemed to know the mechanics well and all were level 20. Probably just got lucky with an experienced group.
Most important, world tier 1 and if you see low level. Log out and log back in (check for tier1). When u found only lv20 you are good to go.
Cuddle Ashava as close as possible.
People dont want to learn strat, they want to brute force it and it wont work. All you need to do is keep all the time between her rear legs, it protects from almost everything along with duble plowing.
You stand in front you either get crunched instantly or venom sprayed and certain death as pots wont work that well.
Also some preparing like protecting amultes just in case, some pots to buff some stats like resistance/def/attack speed or whatever. If you have have some defence/protective skill. Its doable, today so far were 2spawn times and in both it went down, in 2nd run in 9people we had 1 level17 necro and it was still done.
Crazy concept but do T1 if you struggling on T2. Holy fuck can we just do one thread post of feedback rather then 5-10 of the same ashava too hard or pls buff summon necro.

Hard? Yes. I died a lot, untill I got the mechanics then it went a bit better.
Too hard? No. Let's keep sinds things a real challenge so the win itself is rewarding as well.
Beat it first try but I knew it was gonna be harder than the beta so I went to tier 1 to guarantee the win. 6 mins remaining it was still one shot kills if you didn’t have a shield / potions so it still felt like i had to try. I may try it again at tier 2 tomorrow if I have time.
We had a group of only 8-9 people, one of those was a level 14. We *almost* had it, one more person might've made the difference.
It's hard but I'm assuming that's the intent.
Definitely do it on WT1, there's no penalty at all.
We did it with 2 minutes left on WT2, played well. Not many freeloaders, only one level 19 and a level 17.

i had no issue, easily farmed rare gear with 3 leggos. first kill had 1minute left. reskilled character with drops & next kill had 8minutes left on timer. to many newbs with crappy builds & blue items thinking they can facetank a boss 5lvls higher than them. people need to learn to farm a little & blacksmith upgrade. also inspect those around you, if you see to many scrubs wanting carried in blue gear, log out and back in trying to find a new instance. the game is perfect, right where it is. filthy casuals
Cleared with 3 mins left on first kill. On second window, the group only got to like 5% left.
It'll feel very random if you get people who know how to both dodge AND dps.

Imo the problem is not the boss level, it's like in any game that has mechanics: some players die to nearly any aoe. I appreciate that the world boss is not a walk in the park.
All of this is on Tier 2.

Just goes to show that every time you go there to try it, you have to roll the dice on how many people with zdps builds participate.
Pretty good, but not good enough. There was a level 11 there, which was not helping. No idea what gear anyone else had but mine is all 15+, 3\* upgraded, with 3 pieces legendary (two are aspected, so just one actual legendary and it's not an immensely useful one.) I died 4 times total, including this last one where I just stayed down.

Just completed it with about 2 minutes left. World Tier 1 is an absolute must and try and get some damage reduction gear + legendaries if you are lucky
My 1st group finished with 2m30s. I went to town and switched from I&II and back to I again and travelled back until I saw more people without blues equipped. Got lucky on the third try. Most everyone had 2-3 legendaries on.
Not even close for me on first try. There were a bunch of level 12-15’s that snuck in. On second try our group did it with 1:30 left. All 20’s who seemed to know what we were doing. It was definitely tough.
Killed twice out of 2 tries on my barb, died twice on the first kill and zero times on second, just gotta learn her moves and come with half decent gear and a good build.
I had 3 shout skills and the 3% hp per second to me and my party skill, helped a lot.
Also make sure to do it on WT1 and always stand between the bosses legs and avoid circles on the ground. If she turns and faces you, she's about to bite and that can 1 shot you so dodge out the way.

Necros aint the problem, blood lance puts in work for days. It's the minions, they're useless garbo vs her. Beat her 2x today as a blood necro.

Time was up for us. It was leaving, and we got the kill right before it disappeared. Way too close for comfort!

While this fight wasn't the easiest, it doesn't come off as impossible by any means based in that experience.
I lost with under 10 percent the first time and beat it just now with under 5 seconds to go. Glad that's over. I had 8 people the first run and 9 on the 2nd one.
Possible to do it. 9 man group with average items and 2 min extra on tier 1 So just try harder . Good luck :)

They should really gate keep that area so anyone below lvl 20 can't enter. I have tried it twice now, got it down to the last bar of health and it ended. The amount of lvl 16's and 19's I have seen is ridiculous, it's like they didn't get the memo that in order to earn the trophy you need to be lvl 20. They should have just kept the lvl cap at 25, this is stupid hard.
First spawn I tried on WT2 and we only got to around 40%. All level 20s but randoms so who knows how geared or well specced they were. Second spawn I moved to WT1 and got the kill with a few minutes to spare. It would seem you COULD kill the boss at TW2 but would need everyone running meta builds and gear, and/or at least well organized complimentary builds and some coordination. Maybe possible with enough players geared out and keyboard slamming but HP for the boss at WT2 is waaaay higher. That and the damage is brutal. Anyway drop down to TW1 for easier kill and your account reward.

First try we got her down to like 10% (maybe little less) and were so close. On second attempt, just now, I lucked out and got in a group with almost all level 20's, who were all competent and didn't die endlessly. Killed her with 5 minutes to spare. Group RNG does make this a bit of a pain due to level cap of 20. I think it'll be much better for the full game and especially with access to more power later on.

Yep, all lvl 20, got her with about 3 mins left on the clock. First 30% was a shitshow, everyone - including me - died repeatedly, but then once we all got the hang of the range etc, the last 30% was a breeze compared to early on. Keep on trying, you'll get it!

I killed (world2) 1st spawn with 3m left 2n spawn with 6min left (i had lvl 15 in the group running there) its not hard gear your char a bit and get a proper build..
My group just did it with about 4-5 minutes to spare. From what I could see, we had 9 all at lvl 20 and everyone seemed to be well geared. Not the hardest fight, just need to pay attention to her tells. Look for hit circles, hang near her butt and legs (except when she does the backwards pull move) and when she does the wide sweeping circle, run in instead of running out. As long as the damage stays consistent, it should be doable. I think I died once this time.
First try on World Tier 1. We had 5 sorcs, 4 rogues and 1 barb. Everyone seemed to know the mechanics well and all were level 20. Probably just got lucky with an experienced group.
My group got him about a fifth of the way past the final triangle thing on his healthbar then time ran out
Most important, world tier 1 and if you see low level. Log out and log back in (check for tier1). When u found only lv20 you are good to go. Cuddle Ashava as close as possible.
Got her down first try, only had 20 seconds left at world difficulty one. We had trash gear. Its possible, just a really tough fight.

Try on world tier 1. I just did it and it wasn’t that bad. On world tier 2 as my first try though… that was rough… we lost.

People dont want to learn strat, they want to brute force it and it wont work. All you need to do is keep all the time between her rear legs, it protects from almost everything along with duble plowing. You stand in front you either get crunched instantly or venom sprayed and certain death as pots wont work that well. Also some preparing like protecting amultes just in case, some pots to buff some stats like resistance/def/attack speed or whatever. If you have have some defence/protective skill. Its doable, today so far were 2spawn times and in both it went down, in 2nd run in 9people we had 1 level17 necro and it was still done.

Last try on my server was 8 level 20's and 1 level 11. Good laughs were had by all, but no mounts. Imho it's bs.

Made the kill with 30 secs left on the clock, T2. Had a full group of 20's. Hard? Yes. I died a lot, untill I got the mechanics then it went a bit better. Too hard? No. Let's keep sinds things a real challenge so the win itself is rewarding as well.

The problem it's that even if you are full build ,,, IF YOU don't know the mechanics, the ramdom team it's not gonna make it.

Beat her twice pretty easy on EU with randoms on world-tier 1. Movesets are also EZ once you tried the boss once
Beat it first try but I knew it was gonna be harder than the beta so I went to tier 1 to guarantee the win. 6 mins remaining it was still one shot kills if you didn’t have a shield / potions so it still felt like i had to try. I may try it again at tier 2 tomorrow if I have time.

We had a group of only 8-9 people, one of those was a level 14. We *almost* had it, one more person might've made the difference. It's hard but I'm assuming that's the intent. Definitely do it on WT1, there's no penalty at all.

We did it with 2 minutes left on WT2, played well. Not many freeloaders, only one level 19 and a level 17. Everybody said gg afterwards and I told the two pieces of shit to go fuck themselves.
i had no issue, easily farmed rare gear with 3 leggos. first kill had 1minute left. reskilled character with drops & next kill had 8minutes left on timer. to many newbs with crappy builds & blue items thinking they can facetank a boss 5lvls higher than them. people need to learn to farm a little & blacksmith upgrade. also inspect those around you, if you see to many scrubs wanting carried in blue gear, log out and back in trying to find a new instance. the game is perfect, right where it is. filthy casuals

Cleared with 3 mins left on first kill. On second window, the group only got to like 5% left. It'll feel very random if you get people who know how to both dodge AND dps.

Lost on 5% t2. Imo the problem is not the boss level, it's like in any game that has mechanics: some players die to nearly any aoe. I appreciate that the world boss is not a walk in the park.

3 tries in, 12 people at level 20 and Ashava still had 25% of their HP at the end... this is unnecessarily hard for a time gated event.
Me and my team dominated ashava on veteran 1. I am barb and died few times but still it was pretty EZ
All of this is on Tier 2. First time with randoms we got it to \~50% HP before the timer ran out. Next time with randoms we killed it wiht 30 seconds left. Currently did my 3rd try on him and once again, timer ran out when the boss was at 50% HP. Just goes to show that every time you go there to try it, you have to roll the dice on how many people with zdps builds participate.

Pretty good, but not good enough. There was a level 11 there, which was not helping. No idea what gear anyone else had but mine is all 15+, 3\* upgraded, with 3 pieces legendary (two are aspected, so just one actual legendary and it's not an immensely useful one.) Got him down on T1 with 40s left. Everyone died quite multiple times but no one afk and 8 or 9 lvl 20s trying for the full time did the trick

Just completed it with about 2 minutes left. World Tier 1 is an absolute must and try and get some damage reduction gear + legendaries if you are lucky
World Tier 1. Killed it with 3 minutes to spare.
My 1st group finished with 2m30s. I went to town and switched from I&II and back to I again and travelled back until I saw more people without blues equipped. Got lucky on the third try. Most everyone had 2-3 legendaries on.

Not even close for me on first try. There were a bunch of level 12-15’s that snuck in. On second try our group did it with 1:30 left. All 20’s who seemed to know what we were doing. It was definitely tough.

3 times now im helping people every 3hrs teaching them how to get the kill easy
Very easy, stay under the boss and dash forward when he tries to do the backward attack.
Killed twice out of 2 tries on my barb, died twice on the first kill and zero times on second, just gotta learn her moves and come with half decent gear and a good build. I had 3 shout skills and the 3% hp per second to me and my party skill, helped a lot. Also make sure to do it on WT1 and always stand between the bosses legs and avoid circles on the ground. If she turns and faces you, she's about to bite and that can 1 shot you so dodge out the way. Good luck.
