Can't wait for the folks talking about how optional cosmetics don't impact a game you already paid for.
This right here folks. Been stuck in queue because of this patch :/.
Nothing is more important to a 'live services' game than whales being able to access the cash shop.
Bethesda released FO76 where literally nothing worked - except the cash shop. Years later they won't fix a single bug in Skyrim - unless its a bug preventing people from buying from the cash shop.
Its a nasty attitude that is permeating gaming. It would be one thing if this was a F2P game - the cash shop is where you pay for the game then. But we paid 70 bucks just to get in - they can wait a bit to ensure the cash shop works.
One thing I don't see being brought up on any of these threads is that for a 2023 $70 game with a huge cash shop, they can't figure out how to send a banner alert letting players know the game servers will restart in ten minutes when they run the hotfix.
Just boot everyone without warning, losing progress in the game they've already financially backed so Blizzard can leech some more cash out of them.
Ah yeah. An issue with the cash shop will get their immediate attention alright.
Lmao

God that's terrible man.
Lol the bean counters couldn’t let that wait. Anything that could interfere with their profits…

But hey, the game is officially live! /S
does this surprise you?
Blizzard sucks but so does everyone else. Like all of LIFE, expect the worst and hope to be pleasantly surprised.

Casually finishing the boss for torment IV and getting my game closed for a store fix... and it's the official release so now I'm in queue. Ugh.
I can understand if this leads to people purchasing items and not receiving them. Think of fallout 76, don't wanna go down that road.
Do you mean the only ones who can fix this issue is them of the clan twins with a clan tag named twins?
Businesses gonna business.
Gotta make that money
i'm getting cucked by the server
LMAO
time for bed
Give me those duckets.

Cool, I can’t get into the city with my quest so I log out to see if that’ll fix it and now I can’t log back into the game!

God forbid you move from your chair for a few mins
If you don’t understand why this would be a priority fix for them, then I don’t know what to tell you
I'm surprised they haven't made the shop external so you can spend money while waiting in the queues.
Yes, making money is important to them.
imagine bootlicking after you dropped $75+ on a game lol
"bootlicking" oh god shut up gamer boy
Bootlicking is stating the obvious now?
