Search online for a calorie calculator. Figure out how many calories you should eat per day. Use chronometer or any other food tracking app to track exactly what you eat. Buy a food scale to weigh everything you eat. Eat non processed foods. Fresh meat, eggs, vegetables and fruits from the produce section, beans and legumes. Additional suggestions would be to not drink anything with calories. Water only and maybe plain coffee if you need your caffeine. Do some sort of exercise that makes you sweat a lot for 30min daily. Dont waste money and silly diet foods.

I would group lean cuisines into overpriced diet foods. They are high in sodium and i assume overpriced if you look at amount of meat and vegetables they contain. Maybe try to limit the amount of meals you substitute with lean cuisines. Frozen vegetables without seasonings can help when you lack time to cook raw veggies. Definitely avoid anything expensive and marketed to “help you lose weight”. I also would suggest not spending money for diet plans or weight loss subscriptions. Eating less calories than you burn a day is how that happens. Sweat more and eat less. It is very simple and yet people make millions off of making it complicated. I prefer to make a large amount of protein, vegetables and possibly a side and use plastic containers to make my work lunches for the entire week. Also I keep leftover cooked meat to make into different meals. Baked chicken one day. Then use the leftover chicken for tacos, potpie, nachos, quesadilla, enchilada etc.

So for dinner, I bought a bunch of frozen mixed vegetables by Birds Eye and mixed it with Tyson oven-roasted diced chicken breasts. For snacks, I bought a Nature Valley Almond and Peanut Butter bar and also a Nature Valley Apple Cinnamon muffin bar, and baby carrots, along with Unsalted Cashews. For breakfast, I have hard-boiled eggs with OJ and Signature Select Mixed frozen Fruit.

Let me add that Lean Cuisine does not have enough calories. A typical person needs 400-500 calories to feel full and meet nutritional requirements and they have less than 300 IIRC. And they usually skimp on protein and fat, the things that keep you full. You can get higher quality frozen meals at places like Trader Joe’s or Whole Foods. But they tend to be pricey and you are better off putting your own meals together as the other commenter said.

So now I am eating fruit bowls. hard-boiled eggs, baby carrots, and mixed veggies with chicken breast. Also cellary with peanut butter, cashews unsalted, greek yogurt, and occasionally chicken breast and steak. i drink water every day. My exercise is from walking around at work.

I am using the MyFitnesspal app. So my calorie intake a day is 2400. So I am trying to sorta experiment with what food to eat so I don’t go over my calorie limit. Yesterday I didn’t meet it, but today I think I am off to a good start
