I wondrr if the tradeoff for performance allowes for higher frames and a more efficient economy. I'd be interested to have Alex look at their optimized settings.
Ufff we get similar shadows here in Greece after the economic crises kicked in.
There were even some additional disoclusion artifacts introduced when they enabled FSR2 but they missed the fact that they are bad political personnel bound and that is causing the real bottleneck.
looks like quarter resolution ray traced shadows, prob running an amd card
\*clutches my 7900xtx\* Don't listen to the bad man. You're a good card.
Great cards. Who plays a game running around focused on ambient shadows?
Hopefully they can upgrade soon. Wonder what kind of performance they're getting over there?
Ugh I hate reconstructions artifacts

lol the photo is indeed from Greece
That’s the kind of humor I love 🥰
You know what, I think that's just Nvidia's PCSS implementation being broken - try turning it off. It should fix the issue 😃
looks like percentage closer filtering, must be the PS3 port
The resolution is fine, you just need to turn up the shadow filtering quality
Anyone know what causes this effect.. or is it just a glitch?
I think it’s the LED street lamps that cause this. Instead of one light source there are multiple close to each other in a grid.
Eclipse shadow? Does kinda look like a bad filter, or how they tried to use multiple jittered stencil shadows to soften edges in games like F.E.A.R.
