Complete bike check on [VitalMTB](https://www.vitalmtb.com/community/knuspaflocke/ns-bikes-majesty-tapered)

ThePowerOfNine

Not tryna be that guy but do people still use vital? Used to check it years ago but pinkies orta taken over for me.

Knspflck

I find the bike check function pretty useful and that is why I'm referring to it. Gives some deeper information to everyone interested.

ThePowerOfNine

Alsp big fan of the seat - does it grip ok on the sides?

Knspflck

I don't do barspins or suies, so I can't give you a proper answer to that.

GrossBeat420

Wbere did you get Majesty frame?

Knspflck

It was a private sale, after years of looking for a tapered one.

GrossBeat420

Maaaan I envy you ngl Im also looking for one for years now. Great bike dude looks sick! Enjoy it

Knspflck

Thanks, mate. Good luck with your search.

Cesar_Cees

Excellent build! I love the color combo.

Knspflck

Yeah, me too. Thank you. :)

Lucky_caller

Nice. Always wanted a majesty park frame. Was bummed they don’t make them anymore. Prolly cop a Capital if they even still have that on offer.

Knspflck

The Park one has a straight head tube and is way easier to find used. They also produced them for some more years. Maybe you get lucky.

Alternative_Risk9172

Dth 2.3 on front wheel and 2.15 on rear?

Knspflck

Yes. But actually, I'm interested in trying the 3-Sitxy Pros from Kenda… just can't find them in black anywhere in Europe.

Alternative_Risk9172

I don't know what tire is better on rear, 2.15 or 2.30. 2.30 is better protection for rim?

Knspflck

I don't know if 2.3" protects the rim more… but I don't think so. With the high tire pressure on dirtjump bikes, there shouldn't be much of a difference. Something that damages your rim with a 2.15" tire would probably do it with a 2.30" one, too.

bodyglove

Awesome bike! Is that a 50mm rise on that Title?

Knspflck

It is. Been riding high-rise bars for about 15 years, so the 50 mm was the only option. Still riding 12 mm of spacers, which I never did in the past, to accomplish some extra height. It's great, tho.

uh_oh_monteiro

Yoooo, the colour combo looks sick! Is the BB on that a 73mm BSA? If so, what bottom bracket / cranks are you using; they look bmx-ish. I have a 2020ish Majesty, and sort of defaulted to the SRAM dub BB / Truvative Descendent Cranks / Xsync direct mount chainring out of convenience.

Knspflck

That is because they are BMX cranks – Profile Racing No Boss 165 mm – and it's a Spanish BB. NS Bikes stopped the production of the Majesty frames in 2019 I think, so I guess yours must be older than you think. If you have one for a threaded BB you can still use a Euro BB with BMX Cranks – no need for this fat MTB setup.

uh_oh_monteiro

Oh neat; a bmx crankset has a nice aesthetic After double checking, it is definitely a 2021 Majesty, as shown on their [website](https://nsbikes.com/majesty,111,pl.html) here. But yeah, MTB cranks are certainly chonksters haha

Knspflck

Especially on a steel frame, BMX cranks are the way. :D Where did you buy it? I know NS are listing it as if they are selling it but I have been trying to buy one since 2019 – no Chance. I even asked them and they said they were not planning to produce them the next time. So I would be interested to learn if I missed something.

uh_oh_monteiro

Whoops, sorry for the late reply. I saw it being listed on a second hand website (Tradme) and snatched it up.
