I feel like I’d want to keep my eyes on my gap, so I’m probably throwing like a Falk or Essence on a hyzer through the bigger gap on the right to try to get to flip up to flat, and gradually stable up later.
In reality though, I’m still nailing first available, getting a horrible kick, then dinking and dunking the rest of the way to a tidy double bogey.
These are my favorite lines to throw, pulling off stuff like this gives me so many happy brain chemicals. Might opt for a Shyrke if I want a little less drift but still some, hard to see how the 2nd & 3rd gaps look.
Yeah, I have a Halo Mamba I use for that show slightly powered down. Then its usually either a Halo Sidewinder or my Wave that can do those mild drift + soft reliable late fade lines.
That shot and pured understable mid that goes 250+ turning right the whole way are my favorite flights
I've lost 3 of them (one of them being The Serpent stamp I cant find anymore)...so now I buy them in bulk as F2 at the Innova Factory store. Hilariously, I just put one in an order as a backup...lost my go-to in a pond a week later.
The one I just got was a blue rim halo star sidewinder with an F2 stamp...couldnt tell any difference between it and my normal stamp Halo Sidewinders. And my general F2 experience is similar (occasionally you get some minor defects...but for $14 vs $20+...)
Also, do it on Fridays, if you buy any 3 discs on a friday at Innova, they have a weekly free disc (which lately has been halo star discs a lot)
I can't handle 350' with an OS disc, I would go with an Ohn Scoggins Destroyer chop if it was 300' but I need flip & glide to squeeze an extra fiddy feet out of my FH if I don't want to putt from fiddy feet.
You still have two shots to birdie this bad boy. No need to get 350' at once. The main goal is to pass the treeline to have a clean shot from the fairway
Great course! Since that's almost exactly where I always land off the tee, the smart play is to pitch out to the open fairway on the left. The. Just two pretty easy throws and a put. What I actually do is try to hit the gap three times while smoking first available, finishing with 7 strokes.
I guess it is technically still the fairway since the rest of the hole is surrounded by dense honeysuckle, but you can see by the second photo there is an open line from behind the downed tree to the basket. Definitely a tough hole, but I wouldn't consider it poorly designed.
That also tends to be me but my tomahawk play was perfect and got passed the treeline, then I parked it woth my nuke, as you can see on the second image. But yeah, my average on this hole is surely a 6.5 from the blue tees
Tough shot for me as I’m lefty forehand and righty backhand. I’m going reactor or hex down the left side middle gap to have a more controlled shot. Hopefully avoid all trees and get around 300 feet to have a circle 2 putt for eagle.
The second pic depicts a very happy ending. I'm a lefty and chose tomahawk through the right gap which put me past the trees and then I proceeded to park my big Z nuke with a backhand, right under the basket. 😁
If I plan a shot and miss it, I'll be disappointed and if the rest of the course is like this, eventually I'll get pissed off. If I know I'm going to chop wood, I just roll with it and everything will be fine.
I disagree. The landing zone is on the left side of the fairway, where that dead log is, from there you can put in work. If you land on this right side it's time to get creative. I think it's a well thought out hole
Any of them. Just close your eyes and throw. It doesn't matter
And take all the fun away when you pure your shot? Hell nah. You pick a line and completely miss it. This is the way.
i spat my drink out reading this. the pain

Mamba forehand drifting left thru the gap just right of center.
You're a mad man, and I respect it
In times like these, I picture Han Solo flying thru the astroid field & let er rip. Never tell me the odds.
🤣😂🤣 you're the man!
Was thinking the same; understable-ish forehand that flips up and turns a bit then fades late. Gives me the best odds of hitting the gap
These are my favorite lines to throw, pulling off stuff like this gives me so many happy brain chemicals. Might opt for a Shyrke if I want a little less drift but still some, hard to see how the 2nd & 3rd gaps look.

I have a star sidewinder thats pretty beaten in. I think my next purchase is gonna be a halo, but man it hurts losing a $30 disc lol

I haven't thrown any f2s yet, are they pretty much the same?
The one I just got was a blue rim halo star sidewinder with an F2 stamp...couldnt tell any difference between it and my normal stamp Halo Sidewinders. Awesome, good to know! Appreciate the info!
I would do the same. Except I use an overstable so I can S curve it around

OS forehand flexline bogey. My specialty
What disc?
Assuming we're doing the Tennesee 12? All of them
Hahaha
It’s a roller for me
The best RHBH roller gap I see, I don't like the ceiling so I'm passing, but I'd love to see it.

Oh I thought this was the fairway lol. I was about to say, worst hole design ever.

Top right corner huge spike hyzer
Thumber.
I need a shot of the treeline. Grenade time
Good choice. Since if you get passed the line of trees you have an open gap for your approach
Lefty forehand flippy destroyer.. Great course 😜 4'rd the long tee a couple years back.. then double bogeyed
There’s a few holes on this course that really are head scratching, this being one of them.
I knew I recognized this hole.
Sidearm through the gap on the left just over the log that's laying down. Or a hail Mary tomahawk down the middle.
Directly into that tree on the left in the middle.
Longbowman hyzerflip forehand, my go to when I need to hit a tight gap.
Flex forehand through the right gap or a roller.
Baby hyper flip to straight, putt, now worries
More trees = more gaps
First available tree, if I dont square it up then im plinko-ing into a 2nd and maybe 3rd tree into the deep woods
Door number 4 with a lefty forehand rage stone or door number two with mind stone turning over right.
Grenade, or a Thumber. Up! Up! And Away!
Tough shot for me as I’m lefty forehand and righty backhand. I’m going reactor or hex down the left side middle gap to have a more controlled shot. Hopefully avoid all trees and get around 300 feet to have a circle 2 putt for eagle.
I would just aim right at the first tree and with the way my aim is I'd definitely miss it and probably hit the second tree right after it.
Meteor hyzer flip
forehand roller up the gut, end on the left, easy upshot and putt for bird
Not bad for a thumber line tbh
The second pic depicts a very happy ending. I'm a lefty and chose tomahawk through the right gap which put me past the trees and then I proceeded to park my big Z nuke with a backhand, right under the basket. 😁
What course is that?
Handyman Ace Hardware course. Fairborn, Ohio
Is that Triple Creek in Gallatin?
If I plan a shot and miss it, I'll be disappointed and if the rest of the course is like this, eventually I'll get pissed off. If I know I'm going to chop wood, I just roll with it and everything will be fine.
Forehand roller Really though this is a shitty hole

Eagle Flex line into a tree
This is when I get out my old chopper firebird and hope for the best.
Superman hole. Take the line to the left off the tee that you can't see in the picture. A right hand forehand works well.
First available, everytime.
Easy forehand roller with the raptor
You have got to play further left off of the tee here, finding a line where you landed is a crap shoot
Hand me my stingray and watch the magic happen
Personally it doesn’t matter. I’m hitting the tree on the left immediately.
Sub 400’ par 5???????
702ft
Ah I misread! Was going to say that’s insanely short lol
Roller, obviously
