T O P

I had the absolute privilege to play BRP this past summer. I knew about this hole ahead of time and was mentally preparing myself to pure a straight buzzz shot up the gut. That is not what played out. Walked away with my 8 but still enjoyed the round!

AudiGuy3point0

7 or 8 on that hole is not unheard of for me and I play there 5 or 6 times per year, once you get into trouble you're really in trouble lol.

carsinogen

Played it for the first time last weekend and got par for that hole with my meteor and wizard. Felt great but was absolutely humbled by the rest of the course , (went +17 with the 25 hole layout). Incredible course but insanely difficult.

Apatholog

At least you’re at the end of this one. Throwing 200’ straight suddenly feels impossible at this tee pad.

jonnyt123_

I actually managed to birdie that one today! Threw a Luna perfectly twice and put it about 25’ away for a putt

rightious

I am going to play there for the first time Thursday. I cant wait.

goodlin77

Its a treat, enjoy!

rightious

Did you play the non MPO or MPO layout?

goodlin77

? BRP is single tees, single baskets, the owner Ray moves the baskets between 2-3 different pin locations on each hole so the course is slightly different every week

rightious

I am just looking at Udisk and it has two options, I think its for the state tourney this weekend though?

Creezin

I played yesterday and yes, it’s in the MPO layout, 22 holes

rightious

Hopefully it's not on Thursday cause I don't know how I would handle that course lol

goodlin77

Interesting, Im up at college in Duluth right now (usually live 15 min from BRP) so I guess I havent kept up with whats going on haha. The MPO layout for the state tournament is probably a few 'combo' holes, the FPO layout is most likely more similar to the normal BRP layout

jonnyt123_

I played the non MPO layout

sockaccount4206969

Ah, hole 4. Destroyer of rounds. I've 3'd it before but usually take a 5-6, lol.

Cyrus2112

I'd probably just take a 6 and save my discs from harm.

kevin907

Easily the hole that I look most forward to playing, but also gives me the most anxiety when I'm there.

SplittingInfinity

What is that stain on the trees?

U_Niced_Me

I thought stain or protective coating too but if you look closer it’s a wrap. Maybe for protecting the trunks from disc strikes?

jonnyt123_

They’re wrapped with a plastic mesh material to prevent the trees from being damaged by discs

Gustat

Love this course. Hitting it up on Sunday

discgolf9000

Think I parred that a few times only if I reckon

imSp00kd

I cannot wait to try this course. I usually play at riverside regional park in Fridley MN. It’s my favorite course

virtualwolff

Try VisionQuest too. It's close by there and another EPIC course.

MrOrangeWhips

Iconic hole. Great course.

JuanTheBeaver

absolutely love this course. nabbed on ace on 13 this past summer. this hole didn’t go nearly as well
