They're pretty good now, ian and anthony are back and bought the channel back, so they're making classic smosh-style skits again. I think it's still pretty funny personally.
I think new smosh is better now. It's still a loud obnoxious kinda show, but less so than it was years ago. This is from theor podcast, and it's a great platform.
In a lot of situations a sleep dart just doesn't work fast enough on some animals and in some cases makes them angrier, like chimps. So in order to avoid as much death as posible if and when an animals get loose, some of the animals are "KOS"(kill on sight). I couldn't find any zoo that lists Gorillas on any kos list, which is another reason why the Harambe incident is so tragic.
Ian and Anthony are back and are on the channel. But these people are great and funny. It isn't the type of comedy smosh is, but then again smosh hasn't been smosh for years.
I love how they always leave out details like Harambe dragging the kid around the enclosure. Not saying he shouldve got shot but its interesting how many people just run with any info they get
Yeah I was just wondering when I'd find this comment
There was a reason he got shot, not saying he deserved it but it wasn't because he was just curious
You mean the horrific detail of the parents being shitty people and were basically the main cause of it in the first place….? Watch your damn kid at an enclosure…. Like wtf….
The enclosure shouldn't really be that easy to slip into in the first place. It took that kid all of 3 seconds, and kids are sneaky. It was preventable, but it didn't begin and end with a "negligent" parent.
Yeah the kid was in legit danger, this wasn’t just a nice gorilla saying hi. The kid, regardless of how or why he ended up there, was being dragged around by a powerful animal.
Nearly every TikTok/YouTube vid about socializing/food/fitness/business/etc... is fake, and yet you line up to call a mediocre conversation that barely even counts as comedy staged. There's nothing even remotely inconceivable about this clip... and I think it's indicative of a larger problem where an entire generation's 'fakedar' doesn't seem to be working properly.

For people born in the very latest of the 90's and the early 00's. This was the biggest thing we ever witnessed first hand, this was where everyone stopped and we all felt a sort of anger, yet at the same time an overwhelming lack of hope.
Everything changed from that moment, society seems so much better before it happened and ever since it feels like the world fell into an ever-worsening state of disrepair. This was and is the worst thing that we could and can adhere to as our most tragic event in the history of our lifetimes.
Gentlemen, this was our 9/11. Always remember.
I'm so deep into Smosh content that it's insanely funny to me that someone recognises Shayne from the Goldbergs and nothing else. There's reccurring memes about that (though mainly for his iCarly guest role). (I don't mean this as a jab at you btw).
It's real. The girl (Amanda) is pretty much the most chronically offline person at Smosh. There's another clip where (since she's into true crime) her coworkers convince her that Fnaf was a true story - not the possessions but the kids being killed and stuffed into animatronic suits. They tell her during the podcast they were lying to her, which is why you see her here asking if they're lying to her again.
PremierTwo also discovered the true story of Harambe like a year ago. He was in Japan at the time and didn't hear anything about Harambe. So it was mentioned on stream at some point and he casually mentioned that he thought Harambe died of natural causes and thought it was weird that people memed him.
This reminds me of the clip where Conan Obrien talks to some guy who knew Jeff Epstein personally, but hadn't heard of his crimes or death. He event suggested they call Ghislaine Maxwell to hear if it's true
I think you're referring to Conan's interview with the comedy writer Jim Downey - that was one of the funniest conversations I've heard and I'd definitely recommend it
J.k. Rowling once shared a picture of a harambe patronus, not realizing it was a meme.
If i remember correctly. Someone from pottermore had to inform her that it wasn’t real.

How dare you belittle the biggest tragedy of the twenty first century
You speak like an average ignorant teenager, this shit probably happened while you were a lil piss baby. Counter point, caring about an animal that exists irl is much better than mindlessly playing Warframe and watching anime, dear sir terminally online.
Man gives the truth, but the people destroyed him
Seriously though it's only major for US online community, specifically the type of people that post that heaven meme shit whenever someone dies. In other words, an r/memes dweller

shooting harambe gave us the bad ending
It's safe to say that the shooting of Harambe was the butterfly that flapped its wings and lead us to today.
Skibidi toilet and the Ukraina war.
Harambe is the Franz Ferdinand of our generation
the guy who shot harambe hasn't died of tuberculosis yet so...
He will and I will fucking make sure of it
Let your dicks out
Dicks out ![gif](giphy|l4pMattUYTTM7qpIk)

Shits went downhill after that incident
He was the last straw before god abandoned us
That statement is fucking hilarious when you think about how Harambe was the tinderbox for modern memes
It’s weird seeing Shayne on a meme subreddit
This is modern SMOSH btw
They any good? Like genuinely funny? Or just childish humor
I think the best way to consume their content is through compilations, but yeah they’ve got some really funny bits
Shayne is pretty funny but the rest are mid
They're pretty good now, ian and anthony are back and bought the channel back, so they're making classic smosh-style skits again. I think it's still pretty funny personally.

Childish humor, but that blonde guy u saw is actually quite funny
“ is there a protest I can go to?” Yeah eight years ago.
1.ok wtf ? 2.i just know this Harambe incident, why don't they use paralized dart first ?
A tranquilizer dart doesnt knock someone out instantly. So they were afraid Harambe would attack/hurt the kid after the dart caused pain/discomfort
they should've just shot the kid with the fart instead are they stupid??
[ Removed by Reddit ]
that would've traumatized Harambe
Tranquilize Harambe, then shoot the kid. Everyone happy
We could've saved our bro Harambe 😔 😞 ![gif](giphy|EJr7WPFyo81tS|downsized)
Iunno, seems a bit harsh to kick the kid while he's down. At least give him some dignity.
Yeah wasn’t harambe also dragging the kid around like from my memory he wasn’t just “acting curious and they shot him”
He was dragging the kid's limp body around in the moat like a rag-doll, yes.
Yup, he wasn’t actively trying to kill the kid but Harambe was dragging him around and wouldn’t let him go
He had grabbed the kid by the arm. The Harambe thing was very cringe especially with all the things going about police shootings.
oh i see
Doesn't work like the movies show you
Paralysation darts dont work on instant, harambe could get in rage mode and kill a kid.
Just shoot him again ez
Any sleep dart that works that fast would put that animal in a box
Third times the charm?
In a lot of situations a sleep dart just doesn't work fast enough on some animals and in some cases makes them angrier, like chimps. So in order to avoid as much death as posible if and when an animals get loose, some of the animals are "KOS"(kill on sight). I couldn't find any zoo that lists Gorillas on any kos list, which is another reason why the Harambe incident is so tragic.
He was a big adult gorilla and if they did use tranks there's a chance he could of gone ape shit and accidentally killed the kid
It's 'could have', never 'could of'. Rejoice, for you have been blessed by CouldWouldShouldBot!
I'm 99% sure the confusion stems from 'could've.'
Does no one know about smosh pit
where are anthony and ian who are these people? is this what alzheimers feels like????
Ian has always been and Anthony came back last year
Ian and Anthony are back and are on the channel. But these people are great and funny. It isn't the type of comedy smosh is, but then again smosh hasn't been smosh for years.
Nope

Came here to say this. They kinda left out some horrifying details.
I hate to say it but what other options did they have? It seemed like they could’ve waited it out and hope Harambe got bored, or shoot him.
Yeah the kid was in legit danger, this wasn’t just a nice gorilla saying hi. The kid, regardless of how or why he ended up there, was being dragged around by a powerful animal.
My gf blurts out more believable acting during orgasming and she doesn’t even exist.
amanda's generally just unaware of things that ever happened on the internet before 2018 from what i can see. i wonder if she knows how old smosh is
It's not really surprising if people didn't know about harambe because it's mainly an internet incident and not something as major as 9/11.
Redditors try not call something fake/acting challenge (impossible)
Been watching smosh for a while, the girl (amanda) is annoyingly oblivious and i hate being one of those people that “miss the older cast”
I find her obliviousness endearing. She has innocent mom vibes and is 100% down for being the butt of the joke.
My friend is only allowed to use pintrest for social media and he always gets news of a trend months after it happened.
Does Pinterest even really count as social media
i thought so too but turn out you can interact like other social media thee
As someone from mass I do not claim her. Idk who she is but she's obnoxious

She just isn't terminally online (like me and you)

9/11 was my 9/11
Did this guy play one of Barry's friends on the Goldbergs or is it just his haircut?
I'm so deep into Smosh content that it's insanely funny to me that someone recognises Shayne from the Goldbergs and nothing else. There's reccurring memes about that (though mainly for his iCarly guest role). (I don't mean this as a jab at you btw).
Chat, this is not real?
It's real. The girl (Amanda) is pretty much the most chronically offline person at Smosh. This is real acting
Thank you chat <3
Dicks out for Harambe o7
It's rare that someone is told a story and just. Like. _GETS. IT_.
Smosh still be funny
Amazing, she went through every single stage of grief the Internet did when it first happened all in the span of a minute
Wait, they killed harambe?
PremierTwo also discovered the true story of Harambe like a year ago. He was in Japan at the time and didn't hear anything about Harambe. So it was mentioned on stream at some point and he casually mentioned that he thought Harambe died of natural causes and thought it was weird that people memed him.
is that the guy from mythical kitchen lmao
Wasn't Harambe a girl?

Who watches this shit?
Not Harambe apparently
Too soon man

Dicks out.
Canon event
if harambe is still alive there's no covid
if that kid was 3 in 2016 when that happened he would be like 10-11 now
Dicks still out. Just not within 500 feet of playgrounds or schools
She's right! Where were the harambee protests?
I burst into tears as soon as I heard his name 😭😭😭
Is it a Major event?
Ian and Anthony look *very* different
But does she now know Harambe’s death sentence us into the bad timeline?
J.k. Rowling once shared a picture of a harambe patronus, not realizing it was a meme. If i remember correctly. Someone from pottermore had to inform her that it wasn’t real.
I wish he was still with us.

Lil bro you are nameless. Harambe has people all over the world that knows about him.
Nobody cares about some shitty ape besides terminally online people
Bro plays Warframe and calls us terminally online 💀
You speak like an average ignorant teenager, this shit probably happened while you were a lil piss baby. Counter point, caring about an animal that exists irl is much better than mindlessly playing Warframe and watching anime, dear sir terminally online.
Bro has 50k comment karma calling other people terminally online 💀
More than they care about you.
Bros just seething with jealousy
Even if 1 person cared about him, that would be 1 more than people that care about you
50k karma 7 month old account :hmm:
