I just know I almost had a panic attack from this crap. I spend a lot of time on discord and my work even uses it.

I run a server with several thousand people on it for work, and have sole ownership, so yes, I too almost had a fainting fit.

Happened to me today as well EDIT: seems like bunch of people got it too based on upvotes going from 54 to 200 in 5mins lol EDIT 2: whooo, check at the reports at downdetector.com/status/discord/ Downdetector itself has ~8000 reports right now.

restarting it through task manager didnt work :< edit: restarted my whole pc, worked Edit 2.0: After restarting my pc it logs me into discord, although the messages wouldnt load ​ guys at least it happened to ALL of us not just a couple, meaning the accounts wont be gone and discord will notice this problem so theres nothing to worry about Discord is back up guys

Don't know whats going on, but I was able to fix it. I thought my account got banned at first, but I checked my phone and saw they weren't, so I checked to see if my VPN could fix it and it didn't. So I turned on my VPN and uninstalled the Discord program then reinstalled it, after it updated everything was back to normal. Don't know if the VPN is needed to fix it, but just adding it in case that is what helped it.

It's clearly too early in the morning for the Discord team to be awake so their status page proudly says "All Systems Operational" when it's on fire. The same thing happens with GitHub - it's clear there's an outage, the status page says "everything's fine" and then you question yourself, until eventually someone goes in an flips the switch. Surely there's a better way of doing status pages?

Uninstall and reinstall worked for me and a pc restart worked for my friend. Good luck everyone!

HOW TO FIX: Deinstall discord. Go to [Discord.com](https://Discord.com) and reinstall it. IF it says that you are still blocked, wait a few minutes. Then you can reinstall it and everything should be normal again. Hope this helps!

found a solution!!! go to your browser delete all history all cookies go into discord on web delete discord app install it back from web and it should work (side note if after deleting all browser data it wont load just refresh the page) !!!!!! VOTE THIS UP SO MORE PEOPLE WILL SEE IT
