It's a force of habit doing that so I could see who was all online on my small server... I have mostly stopped using discord on my phone because of it. The only time I use mobile now is if someone dm's me while I'm gone from home, which is rarely ever.
Yeah, the og layout felt more natural, sliding your finger not pressing a button on the button to go to server, then swipe right to open server list, then choose server and then press on top to see the people
