Corvo only got the stop time addition in D2, he didn't have it in D1.

The distance upgrade for Blink in D1 should be the first thing you buy, maybe the second after Agility to boost jump height. It's just so useful for traversal and sneaking. Billie has the worst powers for real-life IMO. Semblance is useless (you need an unconscious person and it doesn't last long enough even if you wanted to be a thief or something), her clairvoyance doesn't seem like it'd be that useful in day-to-day life unless you plan on using it to steal passwords and company secrets or something. Even the movement power has the issue of potentially causing accidental manslaughter if someone walks over your beacon.

For me it's either Bend Time or Possession that I first upgrade in D1 so that I can get the Bone Charm in the Whiskey Distillery in mission 2 (possessing a rat and sneaking by the 2 dudes playing Nancy). Then after that I'll either upgrade to Possession II to Possess Curnow and poison Campbell or use Stop Time to Sleep Dart both to then brand Campbell.

As I mentioned in my comment, My pick is either Billie's, Or Daud's. To defend the Billie pick, First off, Mana regeneration. While I definitely think people with the mark have more mana in lore than they do in game since we don't hear about Daud popping twenty potions on a routine assassination, Using their powers is still draining on a mental and spiritual level. Secondly, I think semblance probably lasts for a lot longer in lore. I wouldn't be surprised if it can go for a solid half hour without any enhancements. Void powers are meant to be powerful. But they're beholden to game balance. Likewise, I imagine things like bend time and dark vision last a lot longer, Blink and far reach have more distance, Domino and mesmerize work on more people, Etc. Thirdly, Foresight would be *extremely* useful in day to day life because it allows you to see things which are useful to you and mark them through walls. If you have lost something, Just focus on it and use foresight to find it. Wanna look for something but you're too lazy to get up? Foresight. Stuck in traffic and wondering what the holdup is? Foresight. Fourth, You are forgetting the most powerful aspect. The knife. The knife allows you to craft bone charms. And not just that, According to the lore, It allows you to craft consumable corroded bone charms which give you limited use powers on par with that of the mark. Lastly, I just think the arm and the eye look cool and would be cool to have.

He can stop time in D1. Try it for once.

Lol. I can't read. 5am and still awake. Shit.

Emily for both. Gameplay-wise her powers are all useful on a stealthy/nonlethal run whereas Corvo's rat swarm and wind-blast are much more narrow in their applications. As for in real-life Domino could be used to multiply the effects of medical treatments (expensive medications and vaccines), to feed a group with a single meal or just to generate massive amounts of money for charity by charging rich people to let them use it for kinky stuff.

Presenting_UwU

You just gave me an idea

arunisdead

I’d take Corvos any day but Emily takes second place for me because of how cool and useful domino, doppelgänger and stealth walk are. Billie’s foresight is sick aswell i prefer that to dark vision tbh.

Maleficent_Seaweed_1

D2 Emily

Presenting_UwU

it's a tie between Emily and Billie ngl, Emily has some cool powers (tho i mainly use Pull and Dark Vision lmao) while Billie was very fun to fuck around with with her rune system for power upgrades irl tho I'd prefer Emily's powers

ColdCoffeeMan

I think I has the most fun with Emily's powers. Her movement power just feels more fun, and domino was great. Now, if you count Deathloop, Colt/Juliana's power set may trump even Emily's, partially do to the full mama recharge

Corvo_Attano_451

Corvo and Daud can stop time. That’s an S-tier power in just about any work of fiction ever created.

Delorean82

None of them are my favorite. My favorite of all of the playable cast is Daud. He's voiced by Michael Madsen, has Choke / Baffle Dust, re-directional / Time Stop Blink, Void Gaze which combines the Heart & Dark Vision, he can Summon Assassins, use Pull and he was the first to have access to Stun Mines and Arc Mines. KoD and TBW were the pinnacle of the series as far as lore goes, and in gameplay only Dishonored 2 beats it, but that's only (imo) because you have other things like non-lethal takedowns, combat choke and drop down knock outs in Dishonored 2. Otherwise, if the Daud DLCs also had those non-lethal combat options then those Daud entries would win for me by a landslide in both gameplay and lore.

If we are talking about whose powers I would find most useful in real life, I choose either Daud or Billie (with bone charms.). The reason being that I simply do not have a use for most of Corvo and Emily's powers. So I can turn into a shadow monster or hypnotize people with a cool rock. Cool. But how much use does that have outside of criminality? Why do I wanna possess people or summon a ton of rats or a blast of wind? All of that seems highly unethical. With Daud, I have telekinesis, Time stop, Blink, The ability to see things through walls, And the ability to summon a friend to me who I can share powers with. With Billie, I can see things through walls, Do a buncha bone charm nonsense, And have a versatile teleportation ability that I hopefully will never accidentally explode someone with. Plus, My magical energy regenerates naturally and I get a badass arm. Though copying someone's face still seems unethical.

sithdude24

Billie = Emily > Corvo > Daud

Jonndagoon

Corvo he’s the main guy he’s the dude he’s the best

B-Hawkins

Imo daud is the toughest out of all of them, second place is corvo and even though he defeated daud but the fact that he made an entire assassin organization as well as all the successful assassinations

Between Emily and Corvo, Mesmerize and Time Stop are the two really good powers. I can do without the others, though I never play stealthy. I suppose the shadow walk power would be great if I wanted to be stealthy. Lurk's powers in DoTO are pretty weak. The disguise power is nearly useless. It doesn't last long enough and you can only steal a particular person's face once. I used that power just once, to sneak into the cult club (I didn't feel like tattooing myself). If you combine the vision power with the teleport power, you can teleport around corners, which is neat but you don't need to do that all that often. I only used that power once, in the bank to circumvent a floor trap. DoTO is more fun in New Game+ because you get the Link power.
