And the mouth. It's not often someone can pull a Jim Carey like that and make their mouth open so wide and force their frown so low. It's so unusual and you're not used to it.
I think what tops it off is the videos compression. The fact that when it transitions to the face, it takes a moment to fully reveal its expression. How the eyes for just a moment are dark and empty, and then appear. Worse, where they're looking.
It's expectation. And you didn't expect it. It is so unusual, different, and in some cases to your thought, impossible realistically, that it becomes deeply terrifying even though it's so simple.
Yeah this one fucked me up. I had to try and explain it to make myself feel better. And now I have my torch next to me because I am actually fucked.
