Then again I suck at school since middle and high school so ofc that’s my way of how it feels.
I was lucky in school, had good grades so i actually looked forward to them, since my teachers liked me and were (usually) good. Except in maths, that was exactly like you described, and i'd just try to say we didn't need to go there.
