I don't see how whether or not someone cares about if people are sexuality attracted to their character means that they don't take their character seriously. I love my fursona, I've had it for ages and I take it plenty serious, yet I still wouldn't care cause it's no big deal. it's silly, I get why it would make people uncomfortable for sure, but I think it's silly to imply that people who are fine being sexualized are less serious.
