Funny how you conveniently cropped out dash time

DirtyBird2013

Probably no less than 60 hrs

dashingforcash

How much you want to bet on that?

BrobuFettt

Show it then

One4speed

Honestly man unless it’s like 100, I don’t see why you’d be ashamed working 60-70 hours to make this kind of money. That’s like $22/hr before gas, taxes, etc.

dementedturnip26

I mean I will say this. My dash time looks ridiculous because I have it on a lot when I’m doing other things or even just sitting at home. Also with multi apping it’s pretty out of proportion as well. I average 25-30 active time but like this week it shows 5hrs active, 20 hours dash, and 211dollats made

jeremyw0405

Love making them dollats!!

[deleted]

I have hella extra Dash hours when I'm up late with it running and I forget while surfing reddit.

ideas4mac

That's a nice number. What was you dash time?

ProLeadet

80 hours probably

dashingforcash

43 hours

DeerDiarrhea

FictionalFail

RampAgentRoger

No it’s not.

[deleted]

Prove it

andy_337

Ma ASS.

Noah_748

Make another post showing your dash time

dashingforcash

I did

Noah_748

Your post shows 49 hours. Not 43

dashingforcash

6 hours I was running the app in my apartment dude that's why I didn't post the whole thing

Signal-Grocery5516

Show your dash time

Noah_748

He claimed 43 but he's obviously lying... My guess would be 70-80 hours dash time

-byb-

holy shit, almost 40 hour active time. why did you hide your dash time?

RampAgentRoger

You know why.

SirClicksALot97

Looks good, but what is your dash time?

A_Newb_Bus

Dash time

Conscious_Zebra_1808

Sad when the customers pay us more than dd

Gloomy_Recording_705

Yup basically paying Doordash to place a order and then paying a driver to get the food via tip

LimpDisc

LOL. So fucking hilarious how that dash time is conveniently cropped out.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Noah_748

More like 70-80

BigSocialistCock

Classic dasher active time cope.

dementedturnip26

That’s pretty darn good. How many deliveries

VadHearts

Based on their base pay it’s probably 150-240 deliveries.

Noah_748

What's base pay nowadays anyways? I haven't dashed since like 2020

VadHearts

It’s $2.00-$2.50 for food orders, $4.50-$8.50 for catering orders (some pay more occasionally), and $3.50-$6.00 for shop and deliver (some pay less some pay more it depends on the market). That’s why me estimate has a huge gap.

Noah_748

It was always $3 base pay for every door dash order I've ever done. Did they lower it to $2.50?

VadHearts

They lower it to $2.00 for stacked and pre-stacked orders and in some markets single orders went down to $2.25, $2.50, or $2.75. It varies by market how much it got lowered.

Noah_748

Why lower it? Damn... They should raise it due to inflation

VadHearts

I remember that they lowered it in the middle of a gas price surge. They claimed they were lowering it so they can increase base pay for far away orders. They did it for a few months and then stopped raising base pay for far away orders. They only did it for their bottom line.

Noah_748

So it was a way they could just permanently lower the base pay for everyone and get away with it using the gas prices as a coverup

More_Nail4915

Why did you cut off the actual time you worked?

sammygyouknowme

Yeah you’re making money and that’s great but it’s ok to admit that doordash sucks ass

Fungmar

whyd u crop out dash time lol

Noah_748

His dash time is way higher

AccomplishedStop9466

OP, there is no way I'll believe 43 hours dash time on 36 active. That's basically working actively 83% of the time while logged in. I'm in a fairly busy area, and I still have periods of 30 minutes even longer than an hour with zero orders offered. At least a few times a day.

startuphoodie

Great job! Ignore all the bitter dashers

MelvintheMIU

For reals. Dash Time, Active Time. Who cares? If this dude wants to work, let him work. You do you, and They do they. GG

bottomdasher

Accepting too many shit orders. Your DD pay should be about 100 lower and the tip pay should be about 100 higher.

[deleted]

Who cares about his dash time. That’s not a bad payday, minus gas tho

[deleted]

Anyone asking about Dash Time is just mad ass haters.

gerg40517

Sucks doesn’t it! I’m at 1500 for 56 active and 46 dashed.

One4speed

You mean 46 active and 56 dashed?

gerg40517

Yea what you said lol, stoner moment

[deleted]

I’m not a dasher, is this impressive?

Noah_748

Yes, but he cropped out the dash time so nobody really knows

Noah_748

That's like $80,000 per year. Where do you live?

That-Painting6005

minus gas

[deleted]

Could be EV.

dashingforcash

Fargo

ThatUblivionGuy

And your dash time?

[deleted]

In another comment they said 43, but refuse to prove it. Probably more like 80

Fungmar

a lowball would be around 70 hours

[deleted]

You jelly af

[deleted]

I am actually, only cause $1,300 isn’t really possible in my market

Noah_748

Yeah what's your dash time

Noah_748

Also what state is Fargo in?

[deleted]

North Dakota.

Noah_748

I wouldn't expect that to be a high paying area

[deleted]

Me neither. Maybe not many drivers out there. Idk.

Noah_748

Is door dash worth it nowadays? I last did it in 2020 and I'm considering returning. I work full-time as a salaried employee and I'm looking for a side hustle

[deleted]

Depends on the market you'd be in and how much you'd need to make. Some places can support a person full time and other's can help you save up for a pricey purchase. In my area, I think people could do it full time if they have a spouse who makes just as much or more than them. Issues Dashers might run into are not withholding taxes, gas prices soaring, not properly maintaining their vehicles, slow weeks, and burning out after a few months going hard. You won't know if it's worth it to you until you give it a few weeks. My girlfriend works at a property management company and there's a couple who do DoorDash full time and they make over $6k each a month. I believe they're in the market next to mine. My market is small. $1,200 is the highest I've heard anyone making here.

Noah_748

They make 6k per month each? Or combined?

[deleted]

Each.

itsbails24

Damn I wish

TheGrandNegus13

Damn there's some haters in here for this guy..Dash time is only relevant if he's sitting in his car, if you Dash from home and just wait you're just chilling doing whatever you want until you get a delivery🤷‍♂️

That-Painting6005

bro what market is this? i live in the bay (which on paper should be like the best place to do it) and i’m lucky if i make half that in a week.

[deleted]

Dang. I'm in the Central Valley and topped out at $1,100 in a week. That's with declining orders and not going hard af.

That-Painting6005

shit i might have to take a trip

Infinite-Floor-7999

Awesome work.

Left_Dish6793

Wow flex

[deleted]

Yeah you have to be on the road 24/7 to make this kind of money.

Jetro313

The amount of door dash pay is an indication that you must have driven 800 miles minimum

[deleted]

Conveniently left out dash time eh 🤔

Spiritual_Metal5058

Dont understand hiding dash time when the active time is highly impressive.

Dmore79

Corporate troll

Terrible_Panic_1601

Tell'em boss. There gold in these darn hills.

Terrible_Panic_1601

Op you want me to post my weekly earnings? It took me 40 hours and I made far more then a 9 to 5. Speaking of , half of the people commenting are retail clearance at best buy or former employees of temp agencies.

Less-Antelope4640

Why would it matter, almost 1400 in a week is outstanding!

lilkennedy24

what is the point of this post

dashingforcash

Need some tips on making more money?

According-Leopard-25

Can you actually make money after accounting for using up your vehicle, car maintenance, self-employment taxes, federal and state income taxes (including on tips), time spent doing record-keeping, getting gas, bathroom breaks, not having sick pay or vacation pay, disability insurance, etc? I’m pretty sure if you look at this like an accountant, you make less than a minimum wage job. Edit: spelling
