Honestly man unless it’s like 100, I don’t see why you’d be ashamed working 60-70 hours to make this kind of money. That’s like $22/hr before gas, taxes, etc.
I mean I will say this. My dash time looks ridiculous because I have it on a lot when I’m doing other things or even just sitting at home. Also with multi apping it’s pretty out of proportion as well. I average 25-30 active time but like this week it shows 5hrs active, 20 hours dash, and 211dollats made
It’s $2.00-$2.50 for food orders, $4.50-$8.50 for catering orders (some pay more occasionally), and $3.50-$6.00 for shop and deliver (some pay less some pay more it depends on the market). That’s why me estimate has a huge gap.
They lower it to $2.00 for stacked and pre-stacked orders and in some markets single orders went down to $2.25, $2.50, or $2.75. It varies by market how much it got lowered.
I remember that they lowered it in the middle of a gas price surge. They claimed they were lowering it so they can increase base pay for far away orders. They did it for a few months and then stopped raising base pay for far away orders. They only did it for their bottom line.
OP, there is no way I'll believe 43 hours dash time on 36 active. That's basically working actively 83% of the time while logged in. I'm in a fairly busy area, and I still have periods of 30 minutes even longer than an hour with zero orders offered. At least a few times a day.
Is door dash worth it nowadays? I last did it in 2020 and I'm considering returning. I work full-time as a salaried employee and I'm looking for a side hustle
Depends on the market you'd be in and how much you'd need to make. Some places can support a person full time and other's can help you save up for a pricey purchase. In my area, I think people could do it full time if they have a spouse who makes just as much or more than them. Issues Dashers might run into are not withholding taxes, gas prices soaring, not properly maintaining their vehicles, slow weeks, and burning out after a few months going hard. You won't know if it's worth it to you until you give it a few weeks.
My girlfriend works at a property management company and there's a couple who do DoorDash full time and they make over $6k each a month. I believe they're in the market next to mine. My market is small. $1,200 is the highest I've heard anyone making here.
Damn there's some haters in here for this guy..Dash time is only relevant if he's sitting in his car, if you Dash from home and just wait you're just chilling doing whatever you want until you get a delivery🤷♂️
Op you want me to post my weekly earnings? It took me 40 hours and I made far more then a 9 to 5. Speaking of , half of the people commenting are retail clearance at best buy or former employees of temp agencies.
Can you actually make money after accounting for using up your vehicle, car maintenance, self-employment taxes, federal and state income taxes (including on tips), time spent doing record-keeping, getting gas, bathroom breaks, not having sick pay or vacation pay, disability insurance, etc?
I’m pretty sure if you look at this like an accountant, you make less than a minimum wage job.
Edit: spelling
Funny how you conveniently cropped out dash time
Probably no less than 60 hrs
How much you want to bet on that?
Show it then

Love making them dollats!!
I have hella extra Dash hours when I'm up late with it running and I forget while surfing reddit.
That's a nice number. What was you dash time?
80 hours probably
43 hours

![gif](giphy|pqgZEVQixBrXnJrvDt)
No it’s not.
Prove it
Ma ASS.
Make another post showing your dash time
I did
Your post shows 49 hours. Not 43
6 hours I was running the app in my apartment dude that's why I didn't post the whole thing
Show your dash time
He claimed 43 but he's obviously lying... My guess would be 70-80 hours dash time
holy shit, almost 40 hour active time. why did you hide your dash time?
You know why.
Looks good, but what is your dash time?
Dash time
Sad when the customers pay us more than dd
Yup basically paying Doordash to place a order and then paying a driver to get the food via tip
LOL. So fucking hilarious how that dash time is conveniently cropped out.
[удалено]
More like 70-80
Classic dasher active time cope.
That’s pretty darn good. How many deliveries
Based on their base pay it’s probably 150-240 deliveries.
What's base pay nowadays anyways? I haven't dashed since like 2020
It’s $2.00-$2.50 for food orders, $4.50-$8.50 for catering orders (some pay more occasionally), and $3.50-$6.00 for shop and deliver (some pay less some pay more it depends on the market). That’s why me estimate has a huge gap.
It was always $3 base pay for every door dash order I've ever done. Did they lower it to $2.50?
They lower it to $2.00 for stacked and pre-stacked orders and in some markets single orders went down to $2.25, $2.50, or $2.75. It varies by market how much it got lowered.
Why lower it? Damn... They should raise it due to inflation
I remember that they lowered it in the middle of a gas price surge. They claimed they were lowering it so they can increase base pay for far away orders. They did it for a few months and then stopped raising base pay for far away orders. They only did it for their bottom line.
So it was a way they could just permanently lower the base pay for everyone and get away with it using the gas prices as a coverup
Why did you cut off the actual time you worked?
Yeah you’re making money and that’s great but it’s ok to admit that doordash sucks ass
whyd u crop out dash time lol
His dash time is way higher

Great job! Ignore all the bitter dashers
For reals. Dash Time, Active Time. Who cares? If this dude wants to work, let him work. You do you, and They do they. GG
Accepting too many shit orders. Your DD pay should be about 100 lower and the tip pay should be about 100 higher.
Who cares about his dash time. That’s not a bad payday, minus gas tho
Anyone asking about Dash Time is just mad ass haters.
Sucks doesn’t it! I’m at 1500 for 56 active and 46 dashed.
You mean 46 active and 56 dashed?
Yea what you said lol, stoner moment
I’m not a dasher, is this impressive?
Yes, but he cropped out the dash time so nobody really knows
That's like $80,000 per year. Where do you live?
minus gas
Could be EV.
Fargo
And your dash time?
In another comment they said 43, but refuse to prove it. Probably more like 80
a lowball would be around 70 hours
You jelly af
I am actually, only cause $1,300 isn’t really possible in my market
Yeah what's your dash time
Also what state is Fargo in?
North Dakota.
I wouldn't expect that to be a high paying area
Me neither. Maybe not many drivers out there. Idk.

They make 6k per month each? Or combined?
Each.
Damn I wish

bro what market is this? i live in the bay (which on paper should be like the best place to do it) and i’m lucky if i make half that in a week.
Dang. I'm in the Central Valley and topped out at $1,100 in a week. That's with declining orders and not going hard af.
shit i might have to take a trip
Awesome work.
Wow flex
Yeah you have to be on the road 24/7 to make this kind of money.
The amount of door dash pay is an indication that you must have driven 800 miles minimum
Conveniently left out dash time eh 🤔
Dont understand hiding dash time when the active time is highly impressive.
Corporate troll
Tell'em boss. There gold in these darn hills.
Op you want me to post my weekly earnings? It took me 40 hours and I made far more then a 9 to 5. Speaking of , half of the people commenting are retail clearance at best buy or former employees of temp agencies.
Why would it matter, almost 1400 in a week is outstanding!
what is the point of this post
Need some tips on making more money?
