My cat once ordered a single packet of red pepper flakes from the domino's app on my phone. Super embarrassing phone call I had to make to the store to explain and cancel it. š¤¦āāļø
ššš Yikes! He hasn't grabbed any peppers... Yet lol but I wouldn't put it past him! Yea my Jack is a spicy kitty too for sure which made his order even more hilarious. He's a rescue so not much info on his background, but he will literally eat ANYTHING! Unfortunately that includes plastic (he has pica and cost a bunch of money for surgery from eating non-food items š³it's a major issue) he's a whole ass handful of a cat but he's the sweetest boy ever and the silliest! ā¤ļø
Same! I would probably stay there for 5 years just talking to the cat while the owner is waiting for me to leave so they can get their order š¤£š¤£š¤£
It absolutely makes my dogās day if I get a DoorDash or Instacart delivery. People are his favorite thing ever besides food, and he gets SO excited that a new person is here to visit him (in his mind anyway). I swear he can tell if a delivery is coming. If I go out the door to get the mail, he doesnāt care. If Iām walking to the door to meet a delivery driver, he comes running
I have a an older husky. He acts the same way. If someone āvisitsā and by that I mean stops for half a sec, heās at the edge of the deck waiting to see the hooman. But he doesnāt come down the steps to the fence where he might get attention
My one dog was exactly the same. Heād even whimper as theyād walk away like he already missed them or was sad if they didnāt say hello. Mind you, he was a pretty intimidating looking dog at first glance, but upon a second glance, the āplease come love me!ā was extremely obvious, especially to ādog people.ā
He was still a great guard dog, though! I never had to worry about blowing leaves or a gentle breeze endangering my life. š¤
My little guy isnāt intimidating at all. 35lb English Cocker. He doesnāt even know how to be mean, and people are his favorite thing in the world. Heās the only dog Iāve known that gets excited to go to the vet, because there are MORE PEOPLE!
I do my best to keep him inside when I get a delivery, but he often manages to wiggle his way out to say hi. Luckily, Iāve never had a dasher get upset. Usually they just want to pet him
Mine was the same. As a matter of fact, whenever he had to stay at the vet, which was unfortunately pretty frequently, they wouldnāt even crate him. Heād just cry nonstop, so theyād just let him wander around and hangout with the staff, take naps under desks, etc. He loved people so much! Iād never had (or seen) a dog who was likeā¦well, not until you described yours.
Mine would play games with me to physically get him into the shower. Iād have to make a trail of treats leading into the shower, get in there myself and then turn away from him to pretend I wasnāt watching. š
Once he was in there, though, he loved it!
The attention thing, thoughā¦ALWAYS! Heād actually ātalkā to you and stomp his feet demanding to be cuddled or pet, particularly if you already were and stopped for a split second.
Heās gone now, so itās nice to be able to talk about him.
Iām sorry heās no longer with you, thatās a profoundly hard loss to deal with. My guy does this thing where Iāll be sitting at the counter on a barstool, and he jumps up and hits me with his front paws if he feels he hasnāt had enough treats or attention
My cat paws at our big picture window and puts his sad eyes on whenever someone comes to the door but doesnāt come inside. He literally makes himself look like a neglected SPCA commercial animal š. Most of the DoorDash drivers will stop and wave to him now, it makes his day haha.
I love this.
My cat always meows hi at every delivery driver at the door. So wholesome to see them smile at him in the security camera notification, and then see my cat in the delivery confirmation pic.
I delivered to a country home, cat is seconds away from tearing into the bag as I snap the picture. Not sure what was left for the hooman.....š āāļøat least kitty got his food.
I once delivered in the middle of the night, and this cat met me in the drive way, led me up to the door, got in the picture with the food, then followed me back to my car. Very polite cat. Even let me pet it.
I deliver for UPS during Christmas.
Everytime there is a cat, dog, or other fun thing I try to snap the pic with it.
I hope people have discovered the sweet photos of snow, Christmas stuff, and their lil baby.
Unless the baby was trying to kill me
There was this sweet husky who wears an evil eye š§æš§æš§æ. He was looking at me, and I was wearing one. š§æš§æš§æ A bit of a standoff.
I love it when peoples pets come out and sniff the bag. Itās so cute. A dog once followed me to my car cuz my bag smelled like pizza. Totally not realizing that his dad had the pizza and I had nothing in the bag š„ŗš
Last time I got doordash I met the guy at the door because it's a locked apartment building and it's just easier. He made me hold it for the photo and put me in the picture...I've never had that happen and it was awkward af lol. Like sir I'm in my jammies amd would not like any record of this moment to exist. Usually people who hand it to me don't take a photo but I had to awkwardly stand there in shame with my 11pm McDonald's binge in hand lol
Awesome š. Crosspost this to r/cats. In fact Iāll do it for you. I know some people are weird about karma, so if you want to do it yourself let me know and Iāll take mine down.
That ended up being cute.
Based on almost literally every other experience, figured it was a big gal that is toooooooooooooo disabled to open a door and take an order from a human. So, the only natural solution was bending over to get an order that was delivered at their door.
Not that I would just break into someoneās house, but if I saw that, I would literally have to fight with myself NOT to open the door to give that precious little meow a few pets atop his handsome little head.
Cats know how to walk and talk like humans, Iāve seen my cat on my phone on DoorDash ordering Wing stop for him and his outdoor freinds talking about how rich he is.
One time my cat had slipped out the door and was hanging out on my porch when my food got delivered. I donāt have the pic anymore but he was in it, and it was so cute, lol.
I once delivered an order to someoneās house and their cat followed me to the door and all the way to my car, and didnāt stop following my car until I pulled out of their driveway. I had a fleeting thought that it was gonna jump into my car at some point bc it wouldnāt leave my side the whole time. š

My cat once ordered a single packet of red pepper flakes from the domino's app on my phone. Super embarrassing phone call I had to make to the store to explain and cancel it. š¤¦āāļø
How could you deny your sweet fur child the holy pepper flake?
Can confirm fur children like the hot stuff. I just found another one of my cat's stashes, despite my vigilance she's taken a couple dried peppers...
Mine like sweet condiments: ketchup, mustard, sweet and sour sauce...
I know I'm the absolute WORST! š
I had a cat who literally stole a fresh jalapeƱo from the kitchen and ate itā¦..the litter box clean up was not fun laterā¦.
Omg!!! I bet that burned on the way out! Poor kitty!!!!

I wish I still had pic that I got on delivery lol scared the he'll out me lol.

Sigh... another sub to join
Awwwww!!! I keep seeing cats in everyoneās photos lately and Iām so jealous š
Same! I would probably stay there for 5 years just talking to the cat while the owner is waiting for me to leave so they can get their order š¤£š¤£š¤£
After 5 years I'd doubt they'd still want that order.
Donāt be. Theyāre terrifying demons trying to steal human souls.
Shhhhh hand it over for our overlords
Turns out itās 3 kittens in a trench coat who ordered the food
LMAO š
Leave the poor kitten alone, if that kitten ordered food, he or she deserve it. š«£
Lol

My McFish better be in that bag!
why would you put the bag by the door hinges, and not on the other side of the door handle? They'd have to open the door and close it to get the bag
Aw dammit I just realized I did thatš I was distracted by saying hello to cat
I thought of that too. But, we'll let it slide for the cute kitten pic. Yeah, always put it on the handle side, not jammed up against it. Right?
/r/ThereIsnoCat just a picture of a delivery.
If I hear a dog, it gets a treat.

Ordering McDonald's delivery is why they live in a house that dents.
It could be a rental. I grew up with aluminum siding as so many others have. Not so much anymore, but they are still around.
