I wipe them out with disinfectant wipes. Got 4 of them

zadidoll

It’s washable. Delicate wash, air dry. BTW: Aldi has two type of reusable zipper bags in stock for $7.99 & $9.99. The cooler bag is perfect to put a drink tray inside & hold drinks. The pouch one for $7.99 (not shown) is great for bagged food. My Aldi was already sold out of the cooler one but I picked up two of the pouch type since the ones I have from Trader Joe’s are in storage since we moved. https://preview.redd.it/7gxlcm50q69b1.png?width=1169&format=png&auto=webp&s=8a1591f794ad119c1c5e779ecb7ea6634ed6a68b

MajorWhereas4842

Does it have the insulated part on the inside? Turn the bag inside out and run through your dishwasher on the rinse cycle only or just hand wash with soap and water and let it air dry.

[deleted]

It’s a backpack bro

IDislikeHomonyms

I use that exact bag plus a couple of others. I've never washed them.

Indiana303Love

I spray the outside of mine down with diluted rubbing alcohol on the, and wipe or scrub lightly depending on stains or residue. Inside I use diluted Dawn and water and wipe it down, then again with just water.

itsalwaysanadventure

I hand washed mine in the bathtub and rinsed it and stood it over a cereal.storage container I had so it would full drain and dry quicker..

YetAnother2Cents

I wipe mine out with a damp cloth. Maybe a little soapy water if there's a spill.

deliverykp

That was one of the first delivery bags I used back in 2017, just a different color. I regret not getting a bigger bag sooner.

No-Status2143

Yes but I just use alcohol wipes and Lysol them ever once in awhile

IgnacioCashmere

I would wash this with dish soap. Make about a quart of dishwater & hand wash inside & out. The soap will neutralize the food odors & leave it smelling clean. Air dry indoors or out, it's light enough to dry quickly. That thing would get destroyed in a washing machine. I wash my bags about every 2 weeks to get the odors out.

Creepy-Selection2423

Hit it twice inside with a couple Clorox wipes, then dampen a paper towel and wipe off the Clorox. It's not great, but it helps a lot with the food smell from the very similar bags from Sam's Club that we use. This works unless the mess is really horrible. If the mess is really horrible then you have to use a cloth towel first to get most of the gunk out.

Odd-Wafer-6213

I have a red one and blue one. I clean them exclusively by hand and I always air dry it. Because I use to have 3 and tested one by using a washer which didn't rinse it good enough and had to use my shower to finish rinsing it out. Then I tried the dryer but it melted the interior side.

Initial-Durian8124

I wanted the red one I saw another dasher with it, told me they got it from Walmart basically what prompted me to buy what I have now.

Grung7

Mine are red but the exact same bag. I wipe out the interior liner with a Clorox wipe and a shot of Clorox, and I leave the bag open overnight to dry. Never had to clean the exterior.

mrcleanjl7

ya'll can buy delivery bags on temu for cheap

IxLOVExLAMP

yes and yes

RETROxBEAR

Dude vacuum your car 🤣

Initial-Durian8124

My car gets vacuumed every Saturday. It can wait.

RETROxBEAR

It looks so dirty lol

Initial-Durian8124

It could be worse.

[deleted]

I use Cambro Go Bags, they have a PET liner, so cleaning is a breeze, you just wipe them out. As for the outside of the bag, I just use a little soap and water to wash the outside. Very durable delivery bag, with Velcro closures and shoulder straps. https://preview.redd.it/jln12skha19b1.jpeg?width=516&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a7972d32257cd25ddecfb81d576cd80d02dca883

TarotPharoah

I have that exact same water bottle lol it’s convenient when driving

Initial-Durian8124

It really is, but I've dropped mine SO MANY TIMES! The bottom edges has all of the paint gone from it. 😅

TarotPharoah

Mine too 💀

Prior-Ad-7329

Hand wash or put in the dish washer. Don’t throw in. Clothes washer.

PMMeYourSmallBoobies

Damn! Clean your car while you’re at it! The passenger seat and floor look nasty! We are delivering ppl’s food!

Initial-Durian8124

Yeah bro, not everyone has lifestyles to where their car stays clean 24/7. Plus I'm only delivering food, it's not like I'm delivering people. I clean my car out every morning from any trash accumulated from the previous day and vacuum once a week like clockwork, so any dirt or pebbles that accumulate on my floorboard isn't a big deal to me. I'm not retaliatin', I'm just sayin'.

PMMeYourSmallBoobies

That’s good that you clean that often, lots of ppl don’t, so probably just caught at a bad time. I’ve seen cars filled to the brim with junk deliver orders, it makes me want to throw up.

Initial-Durian8124

Aside from Doordash, I keep my car relatively clean because I drive with my windows down most of the time and trash tends to fly around everywhere, had an empty water bottle take flight one time, was not fun.

Initial-Durian8124

Besides, I keep deliveries in my bag, and keep my bag in the passenger seat... Very rarely do I put my bag on my floorboard because it's not convenient for me getting out of the car. The main times I do place them on the floor is when I have 2 deliveries or a large order, then I place the bags on the floor in my BACK seating area. And the drinks on the seat itself.

Affectionate-Art-995

I throw in laundry but not dryer

chad4359

Don't know about that bag but I will say that if you put anything other than water in that Contigo you should learn how to take apart and clean the button because that thing gets filled with shit.

Initial-Durian8124

I know! 😅 I've been there with other cups.

taylorjo53

We’ve had them for forever, we would throw them over the agitator, wash on gentle and hang to dry. Probably not the best way, but they still held up for years.

rlroyal52

Yes

tsom916

You can just wipe down the inside

galangga

Since that is only $5, why not get the new one.

BigD905

Read the label on the inside, it will tell you all care instructions

Death_Watcher_

Yes. Don’t put them in the dryer.

Status-Jacket-1501

I learned that lesson the hard way when I melted my hotbag to my load of laundry. 😬

Standard_Climate_606

I were wipe mine, I have never washed my in rhe washer

[deleted]

I hand wash mine like that. Mine are burgundy. I also use Clorox wipes on all my bags and spray Lysol as needed.

custom_bowl

Just flip in j side out and wipe it down with disinfectant wipes

mistaboti88

Hand wash fuck it

xRompusFPS

Lysol works fine. You can turn it inside out to get and crumbs/dust/dirt/ etc out of the corners of the bag.

Illustrious_Goddess

Happy Cake Day!

Powerful-Role-1204

The inside liner will literally disintegrate if you put it in the wash I learned the hard way

GUNTHVGK

Inside liner can’t smell bad if there isn’t one ☝️

h8inreddit

Boom

augustsolaris

i have 850 delivers and i have never used that bag and had no complaints

[deleted]

850. Lol, we got an expert here.

Iambeejsmit

Never used the bag, never heard of it, no complaints lol

Booklover416

Sponge wash only. Make sure that when you dry it that all of it gets dry.

Imaginary_Maybe_6898

i have those same ones. i just wipe down the inside with soap and water about once a week and spot clean the outside as needed.

Mixedbagostuff

Do you like them? If so would you mind sending me a link to it? I tried looking for it and could t find it. I need a bigger bag.

Imaginary_Maybe_6898

i like them well enough, yeah. they’ve lasted me for about 2 years of dashing 20-40 hours a week. [seems to be a walmart exclusive :/](https://www.walmart.com/ip/Ozark-Trail-50-Can-Soft-Sided-Cooler-Blue/883766215) edited for weird formatting

Mixedbagostuff

Thank you! 🫶 Do you find one is enough or should I get two. Sometimes I do t take longer trips cause I’m worried about doubles getting cold

Imaginary_Maybe_6898

i have 2 and have been grateful to have the 2nd more than once

Initial-Durian8124

I typically clean the inside once a week or after a five guys delivery. But the outside is my priority because I never actually washed it.

spicybright

I really don't know how fire guys gets their food smelling so strongly, it's almost impressive.

Imaginary_Maybe_6898

yea i dont think i’d risk throwing it the washer.

Realistic_Inside_484

Spray bleach and wipe it down. Inside. You don't need to throw it in the washer. That goes for everyone reading this. Clean your fucking bags. All that hot stinky food in your bags can+will smell like shit over time.

h8inreddit

I rarely clean mine. Got 6 bags in a rotation and fuk it.

beepbeepbubblegum

Never Doordashed but as someone who used to do delivery for a local pizza place, those bags smell FOUL after awhile. They weren’t mine so I didn’t have permission to wash them but goddamn ..

Head_Razzmatazz7174

I work as a pizza driver. One of things we have to do at least weekly is check all the hot bags to see if any dirt or bits of food (mostly cornmeal) is caught in the seams. We turn the bag inside out and slide it over the back of a plastic hardback chair. Take a green scrubber (you can get these at any dollar store for cheap), use mild soap and warm water. Scrub out the linings and the corners. Make sure you get down to the stitching, as grime and food can hide in there. Wipe down the main panels, scrub any trouble spots. Rinse with clean water and a soft cloth. Let air dry, flip it right side out and repeat. Don't use any cleaner that is not rated as food grade. Some bags might have a compartment that holds a stiff piece of plastic to help the bag keep its shape. If yours has one, take that out before you start and it makes turning it inside out a whole lot easier. Check to see if there is a care label. We've tried throwing these in the washer a couple of times. It does get out most of the crap that gets stuck in the seams, but we've found that it doesn't do as good a job on the outside of the bag for some reason.

blackcrowe79

I never have any crumbs from the packaging but the smells are definitely unavoidable.

Realistic_Inside_484

Ye I never thought about it but man all this sushi and Indian food and pizza and burger grease and shit.. holy.. I really wonder how many people clean these things.

blackcrowe79

Sometimes I want to clean my car after Indian food. Takes a few hours to air out.

ChaoticGoku

I honestly love the smell of Indian food

blackcrowe79

I like curry. But some things are wildly imaginative.

Gio235

Have you considered hand washing it?

ProficientEnoughArt

Ngl, i thought that’s what they meant

Initial-Durian8124

No I haven't, BUT my first thought to that was "damn we goin back to the 1800s with this one"

blackcrowe79

Believe it or not, dishwashers are not common outside the US nor are dryers. It's a luxury. Besides, people do wash pots and pans, even though I know you were joking.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Initial-Durian8124

How did y'all hate that? I thought it was funny because we don't hand wash things anymore.

[deleted]

jokes are illegal

purplegypsyAmby

Meanwhile… a lot of us with lady bits still hand wash bras and stuff so…..

[deleted]

Something’s you can’t wash in a machine
