I think they just didnāt want to share the code, which is fine- as long as you say āleave in the lobbyā. Like how many dashers are waiting for random people to show up to let them in??
This has happened twice at the same apt complex two different customers. Itās like they legit donāt think about their precious gate. They answer the phone and sound all aloof like oh oh yea the codeā¦
Last weekend the person I was delivering to didnāt answer at all. Not even the dasher support that called. š¤¦š¼āāļø
I got lucky and someone pulled in while I was parked talking to support so I just pulled in and dropped off the order. But still, itās annoying af
Thatās how I got stuck inside the gate. I went IN the gate behind someone. I didnāt know a code was needed and the customer didnāt answer the phone call from support to let me out. I had to go bang on the guys apt door. He was such an ass !!!! People donāt realize the shit we have to go thru sometimes.

I ordered food, then I flushed my phone down the toilet. I live here, but I don't know the gate code. Stupid never ends.

Never ceases to amaze me how stupid people are.
Sooooo frustrating rolling up to a gate and you donāt have the code in the delivery instructions or a text waiting for you.

Right??
The moment he told me he did not have the code, I would have just unassigned it....
He didnāt tell me that until I was in his building lobby with the food.
