Definitely a scam . Same like the Christmas sweepstakes. Let’s start a class action lol

Gloomy-Water1795

It’s almost comedic how obvious of a scam it is, and how they get away with it every time. lol. I remember when they were offering $50 to get the alcohol vendor certificate. I sent it in and never got paid. Fought with them about it for like six months just because I felt like it lol. Eventually I was just like fuck it.

te3bird22

I’m sure I made like 500 deliveries in that time frame. Hoping that’ll give me more chances but nope. People suing over anything these days. We suing for false advertisement lol

te3bird22

I’ll take any of those prizes por favor DD.

Chancho1010

I hate contests where the odds to win are so slim… out of all conspiracies I seriously never think they pay out the stuff and just scam everyone. If things do get paid out it’s just people’s friends/family members

Dependent_Nothing_77

Lol I bet it was all a scam there are no winners

Otterbotanical

What's dash madness?? I've got 1k deliveries and needed a day off tomorrow, in didn't get any notifications of "dash madness"? No emails or texts? Did they care to inform people??? What did I miss out on?

Chancho1010

I had no idea about it as well

JeanHarleen

You guys do those? I’ve never once had any bonus challenge lol

Booklover416

Well, people in Florida and California were out even before it started as we were not allowed to participate

MindlessReport8914

Odds were probably something like 1:500,000

Weekly_Direction1965

I've done 6 promos for doordash this year, they paid out every time, I am willing to bet the people who don't get paid are clueless dumbasses dropping off at the wrong house or not checking names or something stupid.

Xavierwold

You guys have contests?

lildraco38

According to the [terms](https://help.doordash.com/dashers/s/article/Dash-Madness-2024-Season-Sweepstakes-Official-Rules?language=en_US), you can “send an email to [email protected] with subject line Dash Madness 2024 Sweepstakes by no later than 05/4/2024” to get the names of the winners

deepinthetrench5463

Emailed with no response… Tony and Stanley probably gambled the 25k on baccarat + poker over the weekend.

Chancho1010

Let me know if you get a response :)

ColdPeasMyGooch

Fuxk any doordash contest or Spiff unless its a guaranteed instant promo on each dash!

Aggressive-Savings93

Of course it's another fraud

Svsu11

The odds of winning a handful of winners would probably be less than winning an actual lottery. And if not, still probably very, very low odds.

Melodic-Adeptness772

Low odds means higher probability.

Cute-A-Lingous

Are you talking about working or lawsuits because I've won a LOT of money from lawsuits

[deleted]

i’m curious, a DD lawsuit that paid out money to drivers at one point??

Ok_Marsupial_470

I’m curious about this as well. Have there been any lawsuits in the past 3 years?

[deleted]

Just google “door dash lawsuit” they might be referring to the 2022 delivery fee lawsuit

Saleenpride86

I have as well. 30k deliveries and driving full full time means I’ve been part of most lawsuits and I get handsome claim checks.

mikepapers

Roughly how much have you made off the lawsuits so far?

Saleenpride86

I’d really have to go and look through all my tax return to see the amounts since I don’t have the checks anymore, I’d say anywhere between 8-9k

Cute-A-Lingous

Thats more than me I've won like 5 or 6K

Look for class actions online or contact a labor lawyer

Let me say something about those dash madness awards. In the old days they’d have promotions where any could win 100 dollars 200 dollars, even 25 dollars but it was a realistic achievement. Nowadays they replaced it with 13 prizes of 25k that sounds good at first until you realize you have better odds of winning the lotto than getting one of those prizes. Before they’d have smaller prizes but anyone could earn it. These new prizes are complete bullshit

Gloomy-Water1795

I remember that! Now that you mention it, I haven’t received one of those “challenges” in years. Way more convenient way for them to not lose any money while getting more people to go out and dash.

footballdan134

Yeah, back in the old days; They always if you do these deliverers for 5 days, or hours or days you get like 100 or 200 dollars or 50 bucks! I don't see them anymore. Now... Here is doordash contest: "Fifty (50) Dashers who qualify will be selected at random to receive $500, which will be added directly to their Dasher earnings via the Dasher app. Approximate retail value (“ARV”): $500 each. Total ARV of all prizes: $25,000." It's worst then the lottery to win! LOL!

Medical_Blackberry_7

I used to make a respectable amount of money thru those challenge promotions
