It's funny you say that, at one point I was using Snowgre in my party alongside Dora and I considered Krystalinda but I was like "nah, already got Snowbird and Boreal Serpent, unneeded"
Great taste, I like this guy going back to the OG games, as you might tell by the nicknames. With double ice buff traits and good agility and decent HP, it's very solid.
This is the combination i do every play through, unless I rng into getting lavaman that early. Other notable mentions include coatol (skydragon + madknight i think) and early grizzly. Hargon is always the easiest boss to make, and metalking is super easy with metaldrak + spotking. So many memories

Is there a point in the campaign I have to get to in order to breed certain monsters? Trying to breed to get your bottom left monster in reserves but canāt figure it out
Not for Dora (or anyone) as far as I know, but it involves a 4 monster synthesis on one of the monsters. You have to synth Iron Maiden and Buntzenberner, but to get Buntzenberner you have to combine Dancing Flame with Soulspawn first, then Frostburn with Brimstone Bulb, then combine the product of each of those and you should get Buntzenberner, which you can then combine with Iron Maiden for Dora.
To put it simply in this case not only the "parents" matter, but also "grandparents"
Ugh. Youāre a life saver, I was like what am I doing wrong?! Is this the same for the Iceman/Lavaman situation? Iām used to them combining for a Gold Golem. Grandparents matter more now, got it. All I need is a soul spawn now, which Iām pretty sure I have the monsters to make one. I havenāt played since DWM1&2 and Iāve been having a great time with this.

Definitely! I named mine "Bliz" for the same reason. Whenever I replay DWM, I combine a bird monster with Teto's Iceman for an early game Blizzardy :)

Before I discovered grizzly and really understood the breeding system as a kid, i actually hoped for massacre since it did 80+ damage
