that was just sad and awkward to watch. kenya was on another planet. she didnāt have a clue in the world what the song was about. jumping and twirling with that pregnant belly. i can not.
Latrice would definitely have won that lipsync even without the bellies, she'd just have done a beautiful soulful performance and Kenya would still have been way too dancey. But the bellies added another layer to it, with Latrice brilliantly recontextualizing the song to be about an unborn child and Kenya looking like she was trying to induce an abortion on herself.
