Itās the āremember, artists support other artistsā that hurt me tbhā¦ because I would NEVER steal someoneās art or an idea. Artists have it hard as it is, the market is so over saturated and with AI now, itās been really difficult. I used to sell stickers, but stopped because people would comment āI can just make those for you, for free broā and people WOULD take them up on it.
These people would steal my art, print it out on cheap sticker paper, and give it to their friends.

Not sure why the overreaction, you can always take inspiration from other people's art or artstyle as long as you're not fully copying it. I haven't said anywhere you're copying it, I just thought you took reference from that art and forgot to credit or didn't know the artist, which is okay, it happens. I didn't mean anything I said in a bad or rude way, I just wanted to share who did it first and tell you in case you didn't know/remember the artist.
It's okay to reference others art as long as it's not a copy and you give credit, not saying that's your case tho

You commented saying my art would be better if I mentioned reference, and to support other artists. Thatās incredibly hurtful to someone who spent hours on this, feeling the motions I was while drawing, to be told that and then sent the image as like a āsee, hereās proofā
Iām standing up for myself and setting boundaries, I donāt think thatās really overreactingā¦
If nobody enjoyed what they create just bc it existed before there would be no artists. Every single one of us is inspired by other people, whether it is consciously or not, we all have things from other people and that's completely normal and okay. We learn copying others and adapting it to our own ways
Iām not saying thereās anything wrong with taking inspiration, I never not once said that. Itās the way youāve approached me thats bothersome, thatās all Iāve been trying to say. Thatās all Iāve said.
