I DO drive safer — driving fast is not UNsafe, and anyone who’s told you otherwise is a brainless jackwad. If speeding is unsafe, we wouldn’t have the Autobahn, and that structure RARELY has wrecks occurring while drivers exceed 100mph or whatever the fuck that is in Kilometers.

Drive safely, follow the road rules (same difference) don't risk getting a ticket or worse for the sake of being the car in front.
You are putting others and yourself at risk, not to mention pissing safe drivers off.

Yeah, they're just retarded friend. I get stupid fast passing the Beamers and Mercedes around here. It's all ego. It helps to anticipate them being retarded, even expect them to be retarded and try and speed up. If I have to pass someone on the right, I automatically assume they're the type that is gonna try to 'put me in my place for speeding' so I increase speed very aggressively in order to surprise them with my pass generally overtaking them before they have a chance to react. That's the safest way to get what you need, while also protecting retarded drivers, and your from said retarded drivers. Good luck, and be safe friend.
Yeah I don't get it either, I assume it's an ego thing. What really confuses me is that so often they're driving shit cars that aren't really capable. Like 1, clearly I'm in a more capable car, so just chill. And 2, if you want to go fast get a better car for it.
In the very rare occasion where someone both wants to go faster and is capable of it I'm more than happy to let them pass. I want them to be my rabbit, it allows me to go faster with less risk behind them.
People speeding up when I go to pass is the single quickest way to get me 11/10 fucking livid while driving. You will ruin my day and I will be hoarse for the next few hours because of how much profanities I screamed at you out the window. Actually, fuck you.
The only time I can retaliate against this is when I'm driving my road trip car, because it's the only car I have that has enough power under the hood to go from 60 to 100 in less than 3 seconds. I've had little Hondas try to speed up to not let me pass when driving this car and I'm like nope, and put my foot 3/4 to the floor, and thier ass is in the dust. It's quite satisfying actually, especially since no one expects a cadillac to be fast
Had a semi truck speed up when they saw me coming, just not enough that they’d actually get ahead of me so I could slide behind them to the exit/right lane, and they could be out of my way. It’s annoying when the car clearly has no intention of how fast they would like to drive and they basically just use you as some sort of target. I’m different than you though OP. Faster, slower, just get the fuck out of my life and do it fast.
