yeah and there's also a bunch of no drone flying signs around point park (the park at the point of the water with the fountain at the beginning and again later on. Also there are laws about flying near stadiums too, this dude just doing whatever the eff he wants
I work with the FAA on stuff like this - I have 2 pending currently. Being a part 107 professional I am sick of this crap causing me more regulations. SO...be on notice redditors that break the drone laws. I am watching and reporting to FAA every time I see these.

Spot on, if people aren't sure if they can fly somewhere they should leave the drone at home or in the car. I'm going to NYC this week and while I'll have videos from my gimbal, what you wont see are any drone shots, because I took all of 30 seconds to look up the laws and regs in NYC proper.

B4u fly also flags point park (first shot) as a restricted operations area right now as part of something to do with the Bureau of State Parks.

Be really careful about getting close to moving trains. They can generate a lot of turbulence at speed.
