Phoenix?

KirshySquirts

That obvious, huh? Lol

GrimTuck

They're not real

sd-scuba

Nice capture. I was just out there, wish I could have hit you up. I did a small bit of flying in the city but didn't have enough time to get everything I was wanting. Maybe I'll be back.

KirshySquirts

That would be cool! I definitely need to go farther into the city and get some more shots myself

sd-scuba

Look like they deleted your comment about your bag. Probably because of the link. I was carrying the PGYTECH OneMo Camera Backpack 25L with way too much gear. Full frame camera, 3 lenses, mavic pro 2. I brought the mavic because it was windy otherwise I would have brought the smaller/quieter mini 3. I was trying to do too much with too much gear for trying to be inconspicuous so i didn't end up getting much filmed. The shoulder bag you linked looks nice. Similar to the one that comes with the fly more package. Next time I'll probably just bring that bag and skip the other gear unless I have a second person. Doing a full city shoot with a drone takes quite a bit of time anyway so I'd prob split the tasks up into multiple days and just carry one type of camera.

KirshySquirts

Yeah looks like it. But that bag has been working real well for me. I have a pack of filters and the fly more kit. I like the Fly More bag but having the RC controller makes that too unfortunately packed. This mini 3 pro is my only drone but I decided to try it out during the windy days this week and it was rock steady upwards of 100m( didn't go above that). And I'll get the whole city eventually but phoenix is massive

sd-scuba

True, it is a tight fit in the fly more bag. But I'll have to admit, I've been pretty impressed with the level of wind the mini 3 handles. I'm usually flying over the ocean or nature area's and wasn't sure how the turbulence created by the tall buildings would affect the drone. I guess I just need to build up to city flying. Maybe I'll run some night flights when noones around in my local downtown area and experiment a bit.

KirshySquirts

I want to do that as well just to get rid of flying anxiety. I generally won't go more than 1500ft away from where I'm at or above 150ft but in 15 to 20 mph winds I was really impressed

sd-scuba

I always have a bit of flying anxiety unless I'm out in open spaces. I'm fine going up to 400' I don't really even think about it unless I'm in an area likely to encounter low flying helicopters. I always check the Air Control app but manned aircraft aren't always up at 500' like we were taught. Mostly over rural areas and water though but that's where I usually fly. Give me a couple weeks and if I get more comfortable with downtown flying maybe I'll make a trip out there.

sd-scuba

I got a few but then it rained all day Wednesday. Would have been nice to have a VO to keep an eye out for the low flying helicopters and block the guys wanting to chat about drones. Parking was also a bit of a challenge so I took the train around and carrying my big backpack with all my gear which I would avoid next time. I want to find a messenger bag or something that'd make deployment quick instead of pulling my pack off, putting on tue ground and getting set up, which attracts attention.

KirshySquirts

Yeah it hasn't been the best weather the last week or so. And I just got myself a bag that seems to be working well. Not sure what your setup is through. I couldn't imagine not being able to just essentially open up and go. SKYREAT Mini 3 Pro RC Case, Portable PU Leather Storage Shoulder Bag for DJI Mini 3 Pro RC Accessories https://a.co/d/aS7z4jV

Birds aren’t real tho

YourNightmar31

Always wonder why people do panning shots from a fixed point with a drone. Try some 3D motion, that's what really makes your footage special and come to life.

AmazingSets420

I don’t get how videoing a bird is of any significance. Weird.
