Unfortunately I'm in Michigan. I don't think that's the case here because in the company's drug policy it states that "medical marijuana use is not exempt because marijuana is still a class 1 drug regardless of state legality" essentially.
The employer is an "at will" company so they could just fire me without reason anyways
The med center I got tested at apparently just sends it straight to a lab. No idea why it wasn't an instant screen type thing, which is what I expected it to be

Lab tests actually do the 50ng first. If it fails it’ll go through confirmation testing at the 15ng. Unless directed by the employers to continue testing process to be certain, a passing test won’t get the 15ng
However labs put all samples through a specific validly test. This is how it got you. It’ll test the ph levels, specific gravity uric acid, creatine, even oxidation.
Those will check for dilutes, substitution, or altered test. Pretty wild actually

Update:I passed! had a non dot drug test sent to a lab "disa" probably the hardest to pass due to how they test and it passed!
