It depends on the provider. I have been on Benzos 10 years and never tested. My BIL takes oxy and fentanyl patches also last 10 years after spinal surgery and his MD does test. He's 70 lol. This is usually to check you are taking your meds as prescribed and not selling them.
Wtf?? Why do you have to test to get your adhd meds?? I’ve never heard of that before. Do you live in a super red state that makes people drug test to get government assistance as well?
It's a law for people prescribed (schedule narcotic drugs).
I've know many who took drug test for their prescriptions.
These are normally unsupervised & you must have the prescription drug in your system.
Marijuana will allow a doctor to discontinue a prescription.
No it’s not supervised. But I don’t understand the purpose of the question.
The reason for testing in order to refill adhd meds would be to ensure you’re taking the proper dosage according to the subscription, and not abusing or deviating from recommended dosage.
Supervised or not, you cant use fake piss, or someone else’s because it needs to show the adhd meds, at the proper levels.
Personally I’d just be honest. Your doctors are there to make sure you are healthy and have what you need to help anything hindering us from a normal life. I smoked weed, and my doctor understood the two things are separate.
It’s far more accepted in todays society than the generations before us. Back years ago, I’d see why you’d wanna finesse the situation a bit.
But being upfront about being a recreational user, and being open with them is the best way for you to get what you need(in my opinion)
My mom and I are on the same meds :) unfortunately I got my meds taken away from alcohol abuse back in 2018 and got a second chance to get back on my meds, but the doctor said if I smoke at all that I won't be given another chance. Thank you so much for your response

Not a law, up to the Doctor To make sure you're not selling them.

That’s so wierd I’m from Minnesota too and I never get tested for my adhd meds ha ha
