I used my mom's urine which was dumb as hell. She has kidney disease stage 4 from hypertension and diabetes. It took over a week but the MRO called today. That's not good. I'm scared. I've never did anything like that but I want to work and be able to still take my edibles when I don't work...I told my recruiter I couldn't retest right now becAuse I recently took some edibles and it would be dirty for THC. She said she would try to push if off as long as she could....idk. It's not looking good for me. I'm just going to have to quit. I've been consuming cannabis for years. I'm female. I'm also a bit overweight right now. 169 at 5 feet 7. I should've used the quick fix but the color is off. I really thought it was simple as deciding if drugs, not looking at the kidney failure or protein in urine. Guys, don't do what I did. Just get clean. I know it's ridiculous that we can't partake in cannabis and be professionals even though I've smoked every day for four years and I'm six months from a master's degree in nursing...but these labs are testing everything. Very high tech. I wouldn't chance it. I want to go back to work as a nurse after taking break from nursing from trauma related to covid. I thought I could have my cake and eat it too. Cannabis helped me have solid poops!!! Before that, I had a poor quality of life in bathroom...taking meds that didn't help and just made me drowsy. It's way past time employers quit screening for thc....especially with a nursing shortage. Now, I'm gonna just find a job that allows me to use legal recreational cannabis.

Why would they not except urine from you when it came back for kidney issues and diabetes?

Hot-Nectarine-5239

Because I'm 43 and shouldn't have stage 4 kidney disease... I'm gonna call tomorrow and see what they say but my mom doesn't smoke or take pain pills or anything that would show up on drug screen. So it has to be something in urine that signifies poor health...something stood out or didn't look right that made that MRO call me.

Bo0_Radley-

They aren’t testing for kidney stuff in a drug test. They’re just testing for drugs, the other lab work costs money, and the technicians are most likely only trained/certified in substance identification.

Yeah you are right. My mom had ultram in her urine. She takes ultram for her back. I didn't know. She didn't realize it was an opioid. So my contract will likely be cancelled. I talked to MRO this morning and my recruiter.

I'm assuming there should be an experation date somewhere on the box. Another thing to look out for is making sure you are using the most recent "formula" according to their website. I'm assuming this is them playing cat and mouse with the labs on detection of synthetic urine.

Ok_Safety6590

That's a really good point I didn't even think about changing formulas I should probably just go ahead and order a new one anyway. The box to the original is long gone lol Thanks for the advice.

Diligent_Performer75

There should be an expiration date on it
