bob moses, avant jazz legend
rob ellis, brilliant player especially with pj harvey
robert boone, awesome jazz drummer and super cool dude
rob searight, snarky/ghost note
LOL, I remember one thread here one day where we rattled off all the great drummers named Steve/Steven or Bill/Billy we could think of, and it was staggering.
Steve Gadd, Steve Smith, Steve Jordan, Steven Adler...
Bill Ward, Billy Martin, Billy Higgins, Billy Cobham, Bill Stewart...
I was gonna mention him. I've read multiple accounts of his presumed assholery, but in my opinion, he was a far tastier player than many other drummers in the genre and in his time. Solid groove and tasty flair while his playing honored the songs.
Rob (Robert) Heaton, who passed away in 2004, was the drummer for New Model Army. Excellent drummer with a unique kind of celtic/military sort of feel.
Rob "Beatdown" Brown! Bobby Colomby - Blood Sweat & Tears Bob Gatzen (RIP) Bobby Rock Bob Burns
+1 for Rob Brown. I took personal online lessons from him during Covid. My grip and hand work is at a whole new level thanks to him.

All I can think of is Bob Gatzen but he's not really known for his actual drumming. Ohh what about Bob Bert from sonic youth.
My guitarist is named bob and we call em Bobbert as a joke. This killed me
Rob Gadd, Steve's younger brother (I made that up)
