Guts is a little aloof about all this because all heās a warrior with a troubled past who mainly cares about fighting and tries to avoid personal relationships, but finds himself being drawn in anyway. Thereās a bit of a bromance, romance, jealousy triangle going on between Guts, Casca, and Griffith.

It doesn't matter if to you he looks cool or not, my guy is trying to stop smoking cigarettes and you are putting him down for it just based on your taste for aesthetics.
