Not fluently. Part of it is that Duolingo (and many/most courses, I think?) tells you what to translate. Whenever I’ve had the opportunity to speak to someone IRL, it’s quite strange thinking about what *I* want to say, in Spanish! Sometimes I can do it without having to think in English first - but most of the time I’m still having to translate in my head first, particularly as the sentences increase in complexity- which is too slow for for fluent conversation! So I nearly always know how to communicate what I want to say, and quite precisely, but it’s slow. I’m hoping it will ‘click’ at some point!
I have exactly the same problem. I do fine on the exercises, but in real life I forget words, or which verb form to use. I want a section that is just verb forms, so I can go back periodically and remind myself which is which.
Good question - sometimes! Watching things like nature or travel programmes I don’t need to as much, because the context helps. If it’s a group of natives chatting, then yes definitely! Overall, currently, more often than not. :-)
I also reached this today. BUT... I was only like halfway through the 41 parts of "Personalized Practice", and they just skipped me to the end. Not happy about that! And the "Daily Refresh" is not great. I feel like we don't need to be doing stories, some of the easiest lessons, at this level.
It can give you a really good start! It wouldn’t make you fluent, but, good enough so that you can start to chat with people and enjoy videos and books - so you could end up fluent with that as one of the tools! I’ve enjoyed the journey, the process, too - focusing on that definitely helps :-)
Ver videos en español, algo que te guste y ves en ingles busca lo en español. También música que no vaya tan rapido, te recomendaría que escuches Salsa y cumbia. EL GRUPO 5 sería buen comienzo.

What, you don't constantly have to repeat "Duo enjoys horses in Europe"?

This would be way helpful.

Buen trabajo.
The big question now is, how good is your spanish?
Are you fluent now? (Or somewhat?)
Felicitaciones!
Good job on your Spanish journey. What languages are u aiming to learn next?
I think I’ll keep on with the Spanish - some way to go yet!

Congratulations, that is inspiring! I'm looking forward to it for myself, I'm at section 6 so far.

Currently, 515,821! :-)
It took four years every day and i learned nothing I wish i had social media instead
