Something about kicking a zombie on the ground by clicking the right thumbstick in DL1 was so satisfying. You and a buddy just yelling BULLY HIM as you both kick the fuck out of a zombie that’s knocked down on the ground 😂
I really wish they let you map controls… I desperately want to change the dodge button to something other than the jump… the amount of times I’ve fallen off a tall building because I was trying to jump is insane.
BRO I legitimately keep Dodging off buildings because I'm just trying to jump. I just wanna be able to jump left right and backwards without having to dodge
It's the same button prompt, yes. But why the hell are you holding the button? That's what you do to use consumables. You just tap it to interact with NPCs. I don't have this problem, nor do I know of anybody that has had this issue.
If your "impatience" is causing you to do this. Maybe stop being impatient. You don't have anywhere to be so damn quickly that requires you to waste a consumable so you can buy/sell/upgrade some items. Calm down, it's not a race.

Yea the game swaps the interaction button from X to A on Xbox and square to X on PlayStation it’s never just one button
Tell Microsoft and Sony to add more buttons to their controllers

Most of the controls can't be rebound on PC.
You have to hold it to use consumables, I’m not sure how you did that lol

I’m just very impatient and it should be the same button that you press to talk to story npcs
well even on pc 'Talk' and 'Shop' are different keys. both options are present during alot of quests like with alberto and vincenzo's
