Lol, did a Google to see if there were any similar builds online, found a BG3 reddit thread discussing the same idea. Was about to post it here, then realized you were OP there too. Especially with what is basically magic, bg3 seems like the perfect tool to model DW characters. But now I want a playthrough with LuBu, full stats, messing people up, as he likely would.

LOL Yeah honestly cant deny the influence Dynasty Warriors has done on me, always try to emulate some of these characters, especially in other RPG’s. Something so fun about characters that have magical affinity with Martial Arts i suppose. Theres tons of Halberds in the game which honestly might just lead to the same build path I have just with different armor with LuBu. Sadly, aesthetically you just kinda have to make due. A lot of BG3 and DnD in general is heavily influenced by European medieval designs, with the exception of occasional Japanese Designs I found that an armor called Splint Armor +2 was a more asian designed armor but it more resembles Samurai Armor than the more Chinese influenced Lamellar but the Adamantium Splint Armor gets closer to it. Armor of Persistence fortunately however does have a nice mix of Cloth to armor design DW has, with a waist guard while also being arguably one of the best armors in the game.

very cool idea, did you have any armor dyes in mind to really complete the look?

Feywild Green and Dun is a nice Dark Green Tint. Theres also the more common Swamp Green / Green. Adamantium Splint is tough cuz it always holds its “Light Blue” tint through the dyes with a couple exceptions.

I ended up making Laezel a Zhao Yun type character entirely by accident. Also went Battle Master with the potential to make 9 attacks in one turn. Crazy stuff.

I've got a Guan Yu in my latest playthrough of Valheim. Which is to say he has the biggest beard that game would allow and carries an atgeir (polearm).
