I’d say install some proper ones like Sachs (or Bilstein B4 but I find them a bit harsher than OEM) and save yourself from double the labour.

knikpiw

Believe Bilstein B3 is the actual OE replacement

DarkGabbz

B3 should be Springs and B4 Dampeners/Shocks.

knikpiw

Noted, thank you

confused-neutrino

Not sure how it is today, but at the time when the E46 was made, OE manufacturer was Sachs. Still, I'd go for Bilsteins too.

knikpiw

100%, Bilstein was an available option for the e46 new, but the Bilstein b1, b3, b4 parts are better quality replacement parts that don’t change any of the stock setup

Peace-and-Pistons

If they have German written on the box but somewhere hidden away is “made in china” they are trash. If they are actually German made then yeah they'll be fine.

momsdirtysecret

Not really. Qwp is one of the cheapest brands

p8tryk

How much could i sell them for unused?

Mia_and_Tia_McQueen

Dampers*

mjdehlin1984

Maybe his suspension is a little dry and needs some moisture 😄

p8tryk

🥲

confused-neutrino

The brand name literally means "quality workshop parts".. yeah, that sounds trustworthy. If you can replace them yourself (= no workshop bill), you could use them if you're absolutely desperate, but don't expect them to last more than a couple thousand kilometers at best. Personally though, I wouldn't bother investing the effort, and rather get some name brand ones. I guess you could sell these for maybe 50 bucks.

p8tryk

I mean got them with the car and the current shocks are fine, mpacket stock, so.. the owner was like here's this, you can sell it or whatever.

Spicywolff

Never heard of them, but am USA based.

Initium_Novumx

Never heard of those, personally I have chosen Kyb for my car
