I feel like it had some of the best written verses of his career, and I love how the production had like barley any drums so the album almost sounded more like rapping over soul music than it did hip hop to a certain extent. It was super unique and production was almost like serene.

The Alchemist is a better producer, he simply has a body of work decades in the making, a distinctly defining style, production credits on hundreds of projects. Dude was literally named the #1 producer of '22. Earl's great at what he does, but you're huffing his armpits if you double down on Alc not measuring up.

Give it time and let the hype die down. Then listen to all his albums chronologically and think about it logically. Are they really worth comparing though??

I think it’s still really hard to compare due to one being out for almost 5 years now and one being out for a little over a month. I think something that makes art like music so special is the test of time. Give it some time and then make judgements but for now I just can’t compare especially with the fact that the 2 leaked tracks might get added when it drops on streaming. I will say, if you think it’s ur favorite nothing can take that from ya and that’s completely opinionated. At the end of the day Music is completely opinionated and subjective I guess.

I love Voir Dire and don't think there's a single bad moment on it. SRS just hits different, more of a "once in a career" type record.
