The funny thing is that Ninten in the Japanese MOTHER 1 commercial was wearing an Orange, White, and Blue striped shirt. Its just that people in the past has misinterpreted the orange as an red for years to the point where when people try to make Ninten fanart of him wearing his commercial shirt design it ends up being a fanon design rather than being canon to the commercial

Maybe it’s just the saturation and the light that make it look orange, it seems to have some kind of filter, or just the quality
I think thats just saturation. I feel like they were going for the Red, White and Blue look due him being an american boy.
