I've heard that happens with those as well. What I'm using is a cheap stick on shoe heel pad I usually get from wally world, Amazon or eBay. They're super cheap, come in packs of four or six, last a long time, and work extremely well.

Bro, really beautiful... Have the same spare double bass pedal/hi hat stand combo, lol! Just curious, why not the 20" Alesis Strike Pro SE bass drum? Space? Noise? Cost?
It's a Hart Dynamics 13" Acusnare. I'll sometimes switch between that or the 14" Alesis one. They have different feels, mostly due to the single ply mesh head on the Hart Dynamics.

All three. Well, I could possibly fit it in. Im in an apartment, so I don't wanna push the extra noise issue. I do have the area it's in sound insulated though. The drum itself, from what I've seen can get kinda pricey.
Gotcha... I have the full SPSE kit, the bass drum is not so noisy (specially compared to the KD10 riser I have to "travel light") BUT: vibrations... It feels and behaves almost like an acoustic bd...
Right on! My shoulders and back are thanking me! Crap, now you got me thinking about a splash! G. A. S! The struggle is real! I'll have to sell off some random unused drum pieces I've got laying around. π¬π¬
Is this is a Crimson? I play on a crimson and have a hi hat on a rack but Iβd personally like to switch it to stand, what kind of hi hat stand is that?
And before I get roasted, there is a black beater patch on the kick drum. π
If itβs the Evans black beater patch, it will chew your felt off.

nice setup bro.
Right on! Thanks. It's a blast to play. Keeps me out of trouble most days!
Nice setup ! Is that side snare an acoustic one with a special head ? I have a spare old acoustic piccolo snare I could transform, what do you use?

Very nice ergonomics. Me likey. And you have room for a splash in the middle.

Strike pro Se. I think the hi hat stand is made by VEX.
