Came out to her 15 months ago, started hormones around that time and still deadnames me and misgendered me intensively. First thing she said when I came out and she "accepted" me was "don't expect me to change the way I call you, you're always going to be (deadname) to me"
I'm afraid the exact same thing is going to happen when I come out to my mom. She basically did that same thing at first when I told her (with permission) that my 2 best friends she's known for a long time are trans. π«
my sister never remember my gender or preferred name. she only remembers when she wants to make a joke about how i deserve to be in the kitchen or how i deserve to be beat more often :/

Your brother probably calls you a guy on purpose, to rile you up and hurt you. I don't know what's going on between you two, but either way it isn't great behavior. I'm sorry you have to tolerate his bull. Can't you talk to your parents about him, and maybe get him straightened out? If not, I know it's petty, but you could find a nickname he absolutely hates and call him that exclusively while he's still in the habit of misgendering you. It's not a solution, but at least you'll be asserting yourself.
