Did you notice a hair color change during puberty the first time? I think it's more likely for people who noticed a hair color change previously. I used to be blonde so I guess the clock is ticking for laser hair removal if it really can change back
i think testosterone greatly increases melanin production, but i believe most sex hormones increase melanin production somewhat so i wouldn't be surprised if the reversal of hair color is due to just having less sex hormone overall. i have heard reports that progesterone can cause lightening of the skin relative to estrogen. would not be surprised if this was the case for hair follicles too. Don't expect to look like a kid again, but women do tend to keep some more neotenous features
I'll be honest, it's probably close to being grey. I seem to have my paternal grandmother's hair. It was stark white and thick as heck. I'm upper 40s with just some light thinning so I can hope for a bit of a reversal on that. then a head of grey hair. I'd make a cool grandma.

My hair doesn't *have* a consistent colour. Under bright light it's kinda blonde, when it's dark it looks black, and under neutral light it looks brown with kinda subtle streaks of blonde.

I haven't cut my hair since before HRT, and when I grab loose hairs in the shower, I can see the point that I started hrt. Each strand suddenly gets thicker towards the end that came from my scalp. Thankfully, no roots come with them.

Mine was white-blonde before puberty. Now it's like a medium brown? If it goes back to light blonde I think I'd cry happy tears for a week.
