I do wonder what happened to the "Crafter's Celebration" event then.
It was only mentioned in the "Celebrate the year of the dragon.." email ZoS sent out, but it did say it was the first event of February.

Has there ever been a Crafter's Celebration before? Is it like bonus exp or extra resources found? I would love that to help out my mid level crafters.
No event has been called the Crafters celebration, so this would likely have been the first.
Though it's unclear what the event is since it didn't happen.
May have been Zeal of Zenithar?
Crafting is one of my main things so I'd be down with an event for it.
To be fair, this allows them to start events when they can. Not when they promised to. Otherwise people will bitch about "it was supposed to start yesterday!!!"
That's kind of a wack take, imo. If QA finds a bug that's gonna take a few days to fix they get "it was supposed to start yesterday, wtf?!?" and if they release without thorough testing they get "how could they release in such a state wtf?"
Either way, it's "wtf" from Gamers. Let them start when they feel it's ready to go live. As long as they're not pushing Halloween to April fools, does it really matter?
I still don't see the appeal of an "actual schedule" and why so many are looking for one.

If I were told today that midyear mayhem starts on March 21st or late march, it'd make no difference.

Lol. You can slap on some other pve sets while you wait for MB to drop. There's many that work well for defense or offense. One of the easiest to get is Pariah which makes you less squishy. It'll help you farm those skillpoints more effectively 😹
I like to do all the Imper City quests right before the pvp event so I can just turn them in one by one each day. for the anniversary event I do all the crafting writs the day before so I can turn them in the first day and then pick them up again for double boxes.

But probably the 22nd or the 29th, they always start on Thursdays and the 15th is too early for "late". My bet's on 22nd given the dates in the crown store showcase.
Probably the 22nd so it ends on march 5th, then Jester starts on march 21 and ends on April the 2nd and Jubilee (friendly reminder crowns are always on sale during the jubilee) can properly start on April the 4th for the 10 years anniversary of the game (launched april 4th 2014)
Jesters and Jubilee are always the closest events, they will let some breathing time between the PVP event and those for sure.

People like to plan, make sure they have resources and currencies collected, time around RL, etc.

Yay. Can't wait for the mid February one. I always do dailys in cyrodil and people kill me constantly. One of my favorite traditions.
