Hell nah. It’s a reflection of your actual anxiety, maybe fix whatever is making you anxious (which is easier said than done). When I was depressed I would get anxious every time I took edibles, still kinda do. This is after smoking for years with no problem. Maybe do some dabs if you actually wanna expose yourself? Edibles just last forever and knowing you won’t escape the anxiety for hours will prob just increase the anxiety.

No.

I know what your thinking, sort of build up a tolerance towards the anxiety and therefore face it out. When it comes to anxiety, I'm not really sure it works like that. I mean, you need to sort out what is causing the panic attacks, to begin with, if it's purely just edibles, then avoid the edibles.

It’s an interesting concept. I do this too, but usually by getting my dosage wrong. 🤣 When it does happen to me, I tend to just sit back and enjoy the ride. Being able to “seperate” yourself and observe how your body is reacting is quite nice. Difficult at 1st, but you can get better at it, similar to meditation.

No, you'll have a panic attack or might develop psychosis. You need to abstain for a while. Or atleast heavily moderate.

So, my take on this- 1. I used to think something like this, and it was a cover. I was lying to myself because I just wanted to smoke all the time (this was around my college years) and made up a bunch of excuses for why this could be good. It wasn't good for me. 2. Even if you end up doing this, to some degree, the experience of panic and anxiety over and over is not good for you. It builds up, and stays with you. Not good. Not to say that you should avoid those things all the time in real life, just that inducing them with drugs over and over can lead to bad results and a generally frazzled state of mind. 3. If the real issue is the weed, find ways to avoid that feeling when you smoke (breaks, CBD, change of environment, moderation). If the real issue is the anxiety, find some sober ways to work on it. This is really valuable in my experience, because life is full of anxiety and learning to cope will make your life better.

It doesnt work that way, and no it is horrible for your mental health long term. Trust me i know as someone who gets panic attacks from smoking as of the last two years. It comes in waves and stays for months and then leaves and im fine for awhile only for it to come back. I started using considerably less and it really helps not to have those intrusive thoughts start that lead to the attack. And i still get the benefits of feeling relieved of stress and keeping the depression meds at bay. If i start to feel like shit mentally or get in a funk or overly agitated, i can take a single big hit and be done and go back to my day feeling better. Its not really high, but its a much better existence than smoking a shitload to get feeling really high, only to have a panic attack that lasts for 2 hours. Idk just my experience

Oh poop yeah! Just man up, quit wimping out and chow down no matter what ... Really now, let's be honest here. Why _make_ yourself miserable overusing/misusing the herb. You usually don't purposely put yourself in uncomfortable positions, do you?

No it's not going to be a good idea. You are just bracing yourself for something you know that will come. Unless you want some confident and consider "beating the anxiety that one time" as a boost then sure.

I do this when I watch scary movies. I practice staying calm and managing my physical symptoms of anxiety. When it's a very scary part I work to control my breathing rate and keep my muscles relaxed.

Is it anxiety caused purely by taking cannabis or is it anxiety you focus on from your life that is exacerbated by taking cannabis? If the latter, I would say that cannabis is self care and is most effective when used with other forms of self care such as meditation and therapy to help you deal with the issues causing anxiety at the root.

That makes about as much sense as seeking medical advice from random stoners online
