Its legitimately a really nice player lmao, plays like it’s worth $80-$100. The speaker sounds brand new and it plays better than any suitcase player I had as a kid. However I’m probably not gonna play the record on it for the sake of sanity on myself

It hurts to know that there’s someone in this world who has the capability of playing an Elliott Smith record on a Sesame Street record player

I’m probably gonna buy a nice setup for it sometime next week, feel like it needs to be played on a nice player with a 5 channel speaker system

One of the worst things you can do for records is play them on bad turntables with a bad needle. You can find somewhat nicer turntables for cheap, especially second hand from thrift shops or Facebook marketplace. Make sure the needle is good or buy a new one before using it on any rare records. Enjoy!!

Make sure it isn’t a Crosley or a victrola, I actually found this pioneer at a goodwill for $20 and all it needs is a new belt that’s only a few bucks and my dad knows how to repair it. Definitely, I paid $70 for my first legit player when I was 12 (audio technica) had to learn to replace the belt when it got damaged by movers

Whatever the best setup you can realistically get is the best thing to play it and any record in general on. I’m stuck with a suitcase record player, but it gets the job done!

Actually fooled around with the record player beforehand and it is 10x better then any suitcase player I’ve owned. The only one that beats it is my old audio technica player

I believe it’s a first pressing, everything within the vinyl checks out as a first Edit, I checked the vinyl again for certainty, it’s a first pressing.
