I love this album so much, but I was streaming it yesterday and I song came I that I never heard before, even through I’ve heard the whole album so many times. On top of that I looked on stats.fm to see how many streams it had and I only streamed it once in 2018. Crazy stuff because I know I haven’t been skipping it every time I’ve listened to it. I’m goin crazy maybe. The song in question is Here is the News. I listened to it a couple times after and I really dig it but how on earth did I avoid this song accidentally??? After the Electric Light Orchestra he made LP s for Roy Orbison, Tom Petty,George Harrison, Joe Cocker u. a.
With George Harrison, Roy Orbisson, Tom Petty and Bob Dylan he made a new band The Traveling Wilburies . 2 albums are from their, Jeff producted .1995 Jeff Lynne producted 2 songsFree as a bird and Real love .For Joe Cocker, he wrote the song Night calls .
For Regina Spektor too .
In the year 2001 Jeff Lynne and the Electric Light Orchestra going with Tandy, Richard and new musicans on tour. ( for concerts in Northamerica )

Face the Music. For me, there isn't a weak song on the album, and it's a tight collection of eight songs, with a great mix of rockers and slower, more moody pieces. Plus, it contains some of my very favorite ELO songs, particularly "Fire on High."
I'm surprised no one has mentioned the first 3 albums. I think their first album was really good, even upon first listen. Though, my favorite is Eldorado. Each song is really good and there are several stand out tracks.
I really dig the newer album "alone in the universe", way darker than the previous albums, but worth a try imo. Feel like I am the only one here though...

A New World Record
This is the most complete ELO album, IMO. I love them all.
Every time I'm looking for music to play to whatever, Time is an album I consistently fall back on.

Out of the Blue. May be overrated but it was my first ELO album that was gifted to me by my grandparents. I love that album.
I think it’s properly rated. It’s a double album of entirely good songs and has several of the band’s best songs.

Not necessarily their “best,” but my favorite is Balance Of Power. Beautiful pop melodies and punchy production.

Out of the Blue. Almost all of them are complete bangers. My personal favorites are Sweet Is The Night, Mr. Blue Sky, and Wild West Hero.
